those who think there is death punishment for blasphemy, should read Surat AL-Kafiroon...... also, chapter 5, verse 57-58.. and chapter 6, verse 68-69 ...... there is no death punishment for blasphemy... instead, Allah Almighty just asked the believers to ignore blasphmeous acts... you see many examples in Sunnah too, Tayef, Mecca conquer, bu sufyaan, garbage throwing lady.. Prophet PBUH pardoned all and instead prayed for them..
