  • Great- thanks for this!!

  • Unfortunatelly, this line (and also many other MÁV-operated narrow- and normal gauged lines) were closed in Dec. 2009.

I hope, it will be re-opened soon, e.g. for turistical aims.

  • What a maginificent anachronism. I do hope that it will be taken over by the private sector, even if it mightn't be practical to the retain the whole system.

  • Awesome video!

Unfortunately, they're just about to close down the line...

    Bastards...

  • cheers for sharing man

  • Good Video!

    Thank you for sharing!

  • What a fascinating little service!

How come the loco is never seen running backwards, is this line just a continuous loop? Great video and sound 5*

  • Not such a small system, it is 53Km from Kecskemet to Kiskoros!

  • @mikesndbs If you still happen to read this: they turn around in triangles/deltas, I don't know what do you call them in English. They are either junctions with former branchlines or triangles built on purpose for turning around.

  • @TOMSTEVE123 - they are called 'turning Y's' after the shape...
