  • @BaronBlood138 Aldo Nova co-wrote the song "Take Me Away" with Blue Oyster Cult. Well that i know.

  • One of the greatest bands of all time.

  • @Chickenapocalypse .No, THEE greatest band of all time!!!

  • sure there is no dislike

  • Orgasmic.

  • I can has playlist of this with the songs in the intended order. Thank you vinyl-sleeze for quietly containing that info.

  • @PDXCHawk Sleeve. vinyl-sleeve.

  • 7 7 7 7 7

  • @josedepr Didja notice it's seven sevens? :)

  • @PDXCHawk --yep, the 7 Visitors, Screaming Dizbusters, the 7 sevens, 7-7-7-7-7-7-7

  • 21 years gone since this cassette playing in my car . summer then fall , 1990 . Lots of good times back then , much now then were taken for granted .

  • Love it when that killer riff kicks in at 2.06 then the solo.

  • Fantastic song. Blue Oyster Cult is the hard rocking, most lyrically gift, BEST sounding rock/metal/bluesy shock rock band EVER!!!! Long live Eric and Buck!

  • Damn I love this band so much.

  • fuck yeah!!!! BOC kicks soooo much assssss!!

  • 7-7-7...

  • This entire album is a frickin masterpiece! It got under everyone radar in '88 which is unfortunate but those of us lucky enough to know it have gladly claimed it as our excellent little secret. easily in my top 10 of the greatest rock albums of all time.

  • @halifaxx1 yea. hidden rock cult. certain chosen few, getting together in a torch lit dungeon. listening to something special.

  • The story behind Imaginos reminds me a lot of Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers. 7 invisible men guiding history, secretly protecting the world behind the scenes. Both very inspired works of art.

  • This song (along with everything else on this album) is brilliantly thought out. Please notice that the background vocals singing the single word "seven", do so...seven times. Excellent.

  • Holy fuck I love this song!!!!!

  • that ending is the mule!

  • This record as long as this song is a masterpiece that reunites all that BOC is, a mistery.

  • seven, seven, seven...

I was about 10 years old (1990) when my father bought this audio cassette, Imaginos album. He bought it by accident, it was very cheap, it was like:"instead of a change, take this tape". Thanks to this band and that tape many doors were open in my mind. I knew shit about music, but this album seemed to be very intellectual and mystical to me, "higher level", I loved it. I'm not into this kind of music anymore, but this album has a special place in my heart and mind.

  • 1 more time okay. in a mirror,do you know I see the mirror in my laptop

  • Probably my favorite song on the album.

  • What the hell, Imaginos is the best BÖC album... so far...

  • omg! BOC kicks ass

  • most likely its cuz this cd is out of print. can only be bought 2nd hand

  • Does anyone know why Buck won't play this song live? His vocals are so great here, plus this is a great rock and roll song. Perfectly suited for a live performance...imagine this and Perfect Water back to back done live! Wow!

  • This is Sandy's Baby.

  • @MSH68

    Guess it's the copyright issues.

  • the first time i heard this song , i knew that this was my favourite b.o.c. song

  • Buck Dharma has tied Tony Iommi for my number one favourite geetarist.

  • Why does this sound so much better than the CD I bought a few years ago? Is there a recent remaster that I'm not aware of?

  • may bee the vinyl haut gout

  • From Buck's chatroom whenever this album gets brought up a lot of posters complain about the muddy mix. I never got that on mine. The production was going for a sonic density and layering of sounds while keeping the core tunefulness intact. Very ambitious. I think when the 1st solo lead on I am the One you Warned Me of comes up but is pushed down in the mix it makes me shiver man-whta a ballsy move and very effective for the tone of the album's concept.

  • One all-time classic track!!! Should be in the Top 50 Rock Songs chart at least. What a peach!!

  • A superb capture of Donald on vocals here...

  • Man, I've been waiting all my life for a clear version of this again

  • @ellenlvx clear version?

  • @aocidicoa I played my cassette into the ground. It took an introduction to the weird and wild world of cyberspace to find that; lo and behold, this CD had been reissued...

  • Classic track!!

  • Another hidden masterpiece by Buck Dharma

  • @gothsdontcry actually its by Sandy Pearlman and Albert Bouchard, all of it cept Astronomy, they did it while Albert was out of the band as a solo project, record co would not release it, only as a BOC, so they reunited, but it didn't last, writing credits were added on the BOC album, Alberts demo is available from time to time do a search, its really good
