@giosim75 bè si effetivamente sono tanti...ma sono 3 anni..considerando che ci metto 5 minuti a farli..io improvviso..tu ci riesci a farli cosi all'impronta?:)
you don't play jazz by following the scale.. You have to learn all the arpeggio's, all the scales (like diminished, mixolydian, dorian, etc).. Burn that in your mind and your fingers, and forget it all! And just follow your soul!
I knew someone would say that. Frankly it doesnt matter what style of guitar you're playing. You should always play aggressively. When you are to passive your tone sounds dull and the rhythm isnt real defined. Listen to Paul Jackson Jr or Norman Brown. They ALWAYS play aggressive.
If you want to hear some exciting jazz guitar have a listen to anything by charlie christian with or without benny goodman. charlie is the greatest guitarist of all time in any genre. ( in my humble opinion)
...so I don't get it, what does someone whose depth of understanding seems to go no further than retro porn videos know about guitars, much less music. As I understand it some of the greatest jazz guitar music ever played has been played on strats and telecasters...ever heard of Ed Bickert??? Luv your stuff Vincenzo, keep up the good work!
actually NO. You seem to have a lavk of knowledge about guitars. The Strat is a utility guitar. Look at this vid, he gets a nice tone out of it. Why are you confining the use of a strat? Does it come with a label saying "THIS GUITAR IS FOR BLUES". And there is no "jazz guitar" per se.
