Your not competing in how good you can freestyle, anyone can make stuff rhyme, its a RAP BATTLE. These dude even use some prewritten shit in this kind of battles.

My point was that a freestyle battle has a lot of elements, punchlines only being one of them. A lot of people can come up with funny things to say about people, but if you need no rap skill to do it then where is the line between a rapper and a comedian drawn? I'm not calling Thesaurus a comedian or saying he has no skill.. but I think people sometimes forget that battles are supposed to be about RAPPING, not just telling jokes.
