But what happens is that peasants who grow coca plants among their crops so they are not easily spotted by army planes and subsequently eradicated. @dagpfisico I think you have definitely struck some good points, but you absolutely missed on another point. It is true that glifosat presents many detrimental effects on the health of the populations exposed to it and some crops. But what happens is that peasants who grow coca plants among their crops so they are not easily spotted by army planes and subsequently eradicated. The other point you make is that consumption in Europe is up because of bad strategies controlling.....

But what you have to consider is that in order for the drugs to reach Europe, a multilateral effort needs to be made among nations; and unfortunately Colombia's neighbors are pro FARC and serve as drug routes for drug trafficking. This makes all domestic efforts to eradicate coca plantations almost fruitless. Investment in health and education has been made, but at a snail's pace, due in part to corruption and lack of resources.

Well, I think that from a databased point of view, Colombia is doing way much better now than before Uribe. Is richer, safer and terrorists (like FARC) has been severely beaten. I would also keep in mind that he has been elected twice with a significant majority. Maybe the guy is not an angel but i find it a bit presumptuous to call him ignorant.

This Clown Uribe graduated from a US university and his English sucks. He would do anything the US ask him to do. As you know the US rather to fight their enemies (drugs in this case) abroad than in their own territory being schools streets or anywhere. On the meantime neighboring countries receive from Colombia an avalanche of refugees daily. OMG... There's always those urban legends about every single person of high ranking. I wish people could show evidence and not speak from false main stream gossip. Even so, everyone is human and bound to make mistakes. So if one made a mistake one cannot redeem onself and try to do good? Especially in Colombia, where if you're Colombian then you know drug trafficking was very common back in the day and one would be acquainted with people who did so. Easy answer: Not at all! It consists cause there is a market in the Western world. Second question: Why is there are market? Answer: Depressed people. Third q. : Why are there depressed people? When asking the first question, he hesitates and he doesn't seem aware of the problems Colombia has in the first place. Tio, no soy espanol, pero he vivido en Espana lo suficiente como para despreciar en terminos generales la manera de actuar del PP desde la pauta marcada por Aznar, a quien cuanto derechista latinoamericano lleva en el corazon, sobre todo por aquello de no responder a las criticas.

Aznar, lo único bueno en 30 años de "democracia" en este país y aún así fue comedido comparado con lo que tendría que haber hecho en cuanto a reformas, así andamos como vamos hoy, ahí lleva el su culpa pegada en la frente.

How about you start with showing repect by spelling correctly...to be honest i think your overreacting. Respect is more than just spelling. Of course spelling is important, but the content of what is written is alot more important... For example which one do you prefer: 1.Cocaine is more important than Colombians. or 2. Cocaine is harmful to all of Columbia.
P.S. re-read yourself before posting when you give a lesson on spelling!
