@MarineARFF no shit. watch hit salute. your finger tips are suppose to follow the button line of your shirt up to your hear. he is following the outer side ouf his boday
To everyone who ever served / is now serving in the US forces:
Every American, regardless of our politics, owes you.
This debt can never be fully paid, esp to those who gave their lives in service to our country, & to us citizens. (At the very least, we owe all of you / your families the best healthcare, education, etc you've earned by your efforts, & the risks you took on.)
3.31 ... man just tell , what is he saluting ?? his rayban ? u salute the FLAG not the person , here he reminds of of some beach boys wearing trendy como shirts , he only misses the tan
Are you serious? When does a SUPERIOR ever walk by and salute you? I never saw it happen, in 5 years of service. The same as you only salute W.O. and Officers!!! You do not salute the flag when you salute an officer or W.O., you show respect by saluting their rank, unless in hostile conditions.. You nub, stop trying to act as if you were prior service!!!
@ctrackmonger lolz , u go showing how good slave u can bee by showing respect and such , and more of all , who said that any officer in american forces are americans ? if im not wrong ur army is merchentised right ? yes ok u are right no need to salute ANY flag cause there is not any flag all of the regime is ready to die ... they just farming diollars , i salute ur salary ...
@ctrackmonger i was never in prior service , for money , i was cause i wanted to service my country , my flag wgich so many ppl have died for , on the other hand in ur army ppl die for money right ? thats the reason they go to army in 1st hand right ?
and thats the reason why the only war u won u had no merceneries ... cause they were fighting not for green pieces of paper ;)
so keep on saluting ur friend benjamin or franklin and let others win wars ....
@gloup81 all men in greece go to army ... i say again , its not about money , its not comercial relation , its about freedom and death ( things too much for an average american)
i gave an oath , to the flag not to euros , to the most sacred thing i have as greek , i know u dont have sacred things ... im not missjudging u , i know the way u thing
"i gave an oath , to the flag not to euros , to the most sacred thing i have as greek , i know u dont have sacred things ... im not missjudging u , i know the way u thing"
First of all I took an oath to protect the U.S. Constitution against all ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC.. I did not join for money, as well as I did not join for the GI bill. I can go to the VA and get free money, health care, college, and so on. But I don't.. You see you misjudged me by all aspects!!!
"i was never in prior service , for money , i was cause i wanted to service my country , my flag wgich so many ppl have died for , on the other hand in ur army ppl die for money right ? thats the reason they go to army in 1st hand right ?"
Well I didn't join the Army for money, and I also did go to Iraq.. I don't know where you are coming from? Just one simple question if you were in the Greek National Army then why are you commenting on a U.S. Air Force video?
@ctrackmonger but ok , im not expecting from a country with military history of less than 200 years to know to do and why ... it imitates what it sees
go ask any soldier from country with significant history what they salute to ... just go to an italian , egyptian , german etc etc
"just go to an italian , egyptian , german etc etc "
Well I sure have been to the Bundeswehr in Germany, I have conducted their sports test, shooting test, and ruckmarched with them for 31 km.. What you are attempting to get at is a little out there!!! Besides I was commenting on the U.S. AF and saluting!!! Bear Arms could be to the flag, commander, in a parade. So many things that Bear Arms means!!!
0.51 , is he hiding his left hand for what ? and why he drop the flag on the ground ??? in case u missed it u wearing a flag on ur hat , droped flag u have only one case to , beeing "down" ,
every single tiny bitty moove on these mooves " attention" "arms" etc have a meaning and a reason why should be like that , in american mooves theres no reason , its just an imitation of the real mooves
That was not shitty,he preformed everything correctly. His posture was good, he wasn't fidgeting or moving around.Everything was perfect from the position of attention to the salute.
0.47 well i dont see anything right or if thing of right in us army having the shoulders at the oposite position on which he should have in orde4r to have balance ( shoulders back , chest in front ) hes does the OPPOSITE , when u are in attention , ur chin SHOULD be inside and the chest should be the fore most , at 0.47 it seems he has beer belly or something thats because he stresses the wrong muscles , if someone goes behind him and give him a tiny push he will lose " attention"
the human brain is conectect with the spine , when the spine is stressed ( standing up ) the brain trigers a specific point , among others is the place of "speech" thats why someone that wants to convince about hes sayings stands up , with the spine loose the brain trigers another area , the area of " learning" which is the earea of thinking also , the ones who needs to think real hard tend to sit down , u dont read standing and thats not just not to get tired , u learn better when u sit ,
the soldiers on the back which stand up just arent in the mood of learning anything and the fronts ... they just remind me of some taliban / querilla soldiers , none of them learns , in the very best they will imitate what they heard
pah, the yank air force has developed a fighter which you dont need, you still believe the idea of dogfighting exists stupid people. its way too expensive and you just caused an economical crunch well done
stevbrkr, no offence but go into the military or even the Junior ROTC before you try to tell someone that. Preset Arms is a Salute. You dont have to have a weapon with you to do it.
@USMCSemperFi100 actually in most countries (I THINK all but the US) the present and order arms are only for armed or flag drill. there are other commands for unarmed saluting.
nope...wrong. 90 degree angle with your arm is required. enlisted D+C guys...pff. get it right. Also curve the flat hand a bit to the rear or it looks funky....just like this dude.
i don't wanna say anything bad about us but this drill is shit british dril ftw

The DS is as wrong as 2 boys fucking with his salute!!!
When you salute the arm and hand is supposed to be as parallel with the ground as possible. Leave it to the AF to fuck that shit up!!!!
