Also, as far as a VS cagematch goes a 3v1 fight is going to be skewed against the one no matter what kind of animal it is. Try one lion vs three crocodiles and see how far the lion goes.

No it wouldn't. Crocodiles can and will eat adult lions when given a chance. Lions almost NEVER eat adult crocodiles. Tigers and Jaguars are a different story, but when Lions and Nile Crocodiles clash it either a stalemate or the crocodile gets a good meal. The lion never wins.
