Damn, home invasion. I'd get the house shotty or G23. I got robbed at gunpoint less than 2 mins from my house. Dude got me with a .22 but that little bitch did some traveling. Went in high up on my left chest, grazed my lung, missed my heart by less than a centimeter and it's now overlaying my T11. Still healing. Got a check up on the 18th. Bullet will sit there for the rest of my life unless there's a surgeon with enough balls to take it out. You can run your finger down my spine and feel it

@69salford69 Everything was ok. No internal bleeding, no organs hit. Only my hip bone was nicked a little. The pain was gone for good a year after it happened. Next July 18th it will be 3 years from this experience. I was in my apartment and opened the door without caution. Be careful out there. There are really good people making really stupid decisions. But it's all part of everything that needs to happen.

I know EXACTLY how you felt. They took a 38 hollow point out of my leg. Then carved two10'' trenches on either side to drain the blood for three days. 2 surgeries, 25 super stiches, and a whole lot of therapy later i can walk and run. God Bless Doctors

theres no such bullet cartridge as 4mm, it looks like you got hit by some small cartridge ball round and it went thrue on the side of your fat with out damging your inside organs, you got fortunate. If it was a 40 mm hollow point round you would of died from the shock and inside bleeding by the time paramedics would show up

@tarek1982 The opposite. it came in the front, hit me hip bone then changes angles and went up into the ceiling. When I got shot I felt the worse pain in my ears because It was loud and the ringing went on for 5 minutes or something. Then the pain in my hip became worse once I started moving around to find my phone.

wow, amazing story. Im really glad the bullet didn't get much more of your bone, you would have never been able to walk again and possibly died. California has some crazy gun laws "preventing" its citizens from carrying concealed giving criminals the advantage against law abiding citizens. My advice is to move to one of the free states, get a concealed carry permit and practice.  Im sickened to know that man is still on the street.

WOW! That's horrible that happened to you. I feel your pain. I was shot in the leg in an attempted car jacking in 1997 . I was 19 years old and they didn't even get my truck. Thankfully they were caught a few days later robbing a bank. You seem like a really strong person. Just hang in there, and best of luck to you.

He left then came back 3 minutes later. Pushed his way in, drew gun to head and said sit down and shut up. I didn't do what he said. He got a call. they made up lie they had sister hostage. I got REALLY mad. Told him to get the F out. Before he left he took a shot. He ran off. I locked door. Called for help. Went to hospital.

i have a massive sword collection, as well as knife. own a crossbow and a compound bow. i do now come to the door now with a weapon every time someone knocks. because my neighbor hood has had 4 drive by shootings and many breakin's. in fact my friends house got broken into during the day from someone breaking in the front door!

he got a phone call from his accomplice and they made up the lie that they had my sister hostage and that i should cooperate. I got really pissed off then and said get the F*** out of my house in so many words. We never came in contact physically but through my words he realized I wouldn't do anything he asked. He backed out the door and took a shot from ~3 feet away. This hole experience was in the 3X4 linolium entrance way you see in most apartments. The ringing in my ears was the major shock

I dont know. the entrance would had to be stapled shut but the exit wound was pretty small. In the hospital they had to change the dressings on the exit wound because it kept oooozzzzing and pussing. Yuck :)

When I saw this video I just started weeping. I don't have insurance, and the hospital just sent me a bill for 29,000 dollars I can't pay. The bullet passed through. I said do NOT treat my son because I did not have any insurance. No surgery, but charged me anyway saying they had to set up a trauma team. The shooter is still at large. God bless you and remember that the reason you and my son are alive is because the angels interceded. Shot by an illegal and I get financially ruined.

People do survive, but not happily. Everything that gets blasted heals up with scar tissue. EVERYTHING. So you have all sorts of scar tissue inside that feels like crap. AND, thats the parts that the docs leave in. Some stuff has to be taken out. Getting stabbed or shot leaves more than external scars. I once helped a former gangbanger who survived... and had the pleasure of riding in a wheel chair for the rest of his life.... still playing the bad ass. He was amusingly ignorant.
