  • I am using CS5, and i cannot get the grid, everytime i drag multiple images it just creates bunch of layers. Please help.

  • with the text included , you tutor is very excellent explanation........thank you so much ...God bless you.

  • do you have to do something first for getting the vanishing point option? i cant click the option

  • @Yamaneko81 - check and make sure you have the layer selected, this is the most common issue.

    how ??

  • I have a question... I am brand new to InDesign and when I drag and drop the images they do not go into a Grid Formation like yours do - what am I missing?

I am on a Windows Machine and I am using CS3

  • @Vicki1477 - Placing multiple files was introduced in InDesign CS3, but the ability to create a contact sheet was not added until CS4.

  • that was sick man, not to mention i love the literally step by step feel of this tutorial rather then having to guess some of the steps because something was left out. :)

  • another question Sir..when u are opening a new document how to change the mm to inches in page size - width, height.. columns - gutter.. and the margins Sir..I want to change the mm to inches set up Sir..thank u..

  • @uninanonynymity - use the same technique I described previously, but make sure no documents are open. If you change a preference WITH a document open, only that document is affected. If you change preferences with no documents open, you create a default setting for all newly created documents.

  • i am new in indesign Sir, so can u teach me on how to change mm to inches when opening a new document? thank u..

  • @uninanonynymity - to change the rulers within InDesign simply point your cursor at the left corner where the horizontal & vertical rulers meet, then right-click and choose "Inches" from the context menu. You can also set the InDesign ruler preferences by going to Edit-->Preferences (PC) or InDesign-->Preferences (Mac).

  • @ajwood2001 thank u so much Sir.. u r so helpful..
