  • top 3 artists of all time (not because of sales)

    3. elivis

    2. michael jackson

    1. the beatles

  • Beatles = best band ever

  • man This List Is Stupid Wheres Madonna And Mariah Carey.....

  • elvis + beatles = air and water

  • Just left Madona out Huh? She's third all time with 300+ million all time. Maybe a little more research is needed.

  • Here's my top 10: 10. Rolling Stones 9. Elton John 8. KISS 7.James Brown 6. Prince 5. Eminem 4. The Jackson 5 (Later on, The Jacksons) 3. ACDC 2. The Beatles 1. Michael Jackson (As a solo artist)
  • i believe this list is purely artist sales, not albums. Thriller (110 mil), Back in Black (49 mil), and Dark Side of the Moon (45 mil) are the top three album sales thus far.

  • Someone else mentioned Led Zeppelin at 300 million. And Bing Crosby has sold over 300 million. They are more successful in sales than a number of acts on your list. Ultimately, though, does it matter? All of these acts are extraordinarily successful, and as to what anyone cares to listen to, that depends wholly upon personal preference, not sales numbers.

  • and led zeppelin isn't in here they sold 300 million copy's

  • If you take MichaelJackson solo, then Jackson 5, then Jacksons -- Michael Jackson over his entire career BLOWS everyone out of the water ... PERIOD !!

  • You completely missed Led Zeppelin. I know they sold more copies than half of these people on your list.

  • Where is Floyd? Dark Side of the Moon alone is Number 2 best selling album under Mickeal Jacksons thriller?

  • @ltcurry Actually 4th because of Back In Black and The Eagles Greatest Hits

  • *crying* where's led leppelin?!?

  • I like this, I know who most of them are. Especialy the Beatles <3

  • big achievement for the beatles and abba,,when you consider they were only together for 10 years, jackson was going for 40 years and presley 30 odd years,in reality the beatles and abba were head and shoulders above anyone, two best bands ever

  • This Top Ten is a shit (Celine Dion?!? Oh my god !!!!) but I'm a big fan of The Beatles.

  • @FrenchDonovan

Yea celin dion selled many albums and i think he shows a video about most selling band !

  • um? Isn't Pink Floyd in the top 10?

  • duude EFFF ACDC, my god i cant stand them

  • IMPORTANT - Michael Jackson sold the most amount of records of all time during his career. It is an official record... Elvis and The Beatles accumilated more after their careers. I'm sure The Most Famous Person Ever will follow trend. That's taking nothing away from The King Of Rock and Roll or The Greatest Band Of All Time. These two acts will probably never be topped. The King Of Popular Music will definately never be topped

  • @theone225 Typical MJ fan.

  • @theone225 i agree. Michael jackson Was the BEST entertainer in music history, its just a fact no getting around it soory bur this video is wrong.

  • @WhitneySexi I feel for the Beatles and Elvis fans. Because I know that if I spent my life growing up in the knowledge that Elvis is the best entertainer in history, then 10 years later the unthinkable happens and someone else is 100 times better than him I would hate that. If I were a fan of Elvis, I would honestly be quite upset and jealous. But I am not a HUGE fan of his, so I can appreciate Michael Jackson so much more

  • And where's Britney in that ?!

  • BULLSHIT

    DONT BELIEVE THIS

  • this is false cause the beatles only sold 500 million copies worldwide

  • @TheNWAGamingNation

Depends on the source, as well as other artists/bands

  • the beatles ftw!

  • queen is the best!!!!!

  • @onepolej stfu first of all maybe you havent heard of anyone on this list but that doesnt mean that they dont exist first of all elvis was one of the most popular artists of all time ok why do you think there is a whole entire meuseam dedicated to him and i know for a fact that the beatles sold more than 35 million because i am a humungous fan i know everything about their band they are rated the greatest band of all time officially ok so stfu you dont know anything about music

  • actualy no and whats funny about that question is that this guy go his info from the Wickipidia cause i looked them all up on it and they all say theese sales so their wrong and i even have proof and i have already written it down

  • Julio iglesias? i dont know one single person who has. Queen have sold 150 million albums not 300 million, their best selling album sold 25 million copies and they have 11 albums so do some math. Bee Gees have sold 100 million albums according to their biogrophy. ABBA has onley sold 10 million albums According to RIAA and bands roughply sell half their albums in America so theirfore their is no way ABBA have sold even 100 million much less 375!

    Elton john

    Ac/Dc

    Michael Jackson are all right

  • @onepolej

    Queen are over 300 mil

  • thats funny the beatles onley have 12 albums their best selling album sold 35 million copies and their 2nd best selling sold 30 million and that adds up to 65 million, so its not even possible that they could have sold anywhere NEAR 1 billion you some common sience!!!! and Elvis does not even has ONE best selling album so he could not have sold even close to 1 billion. Julio whatever his name is does not have one either! and how could someone sell a lot when their unknown? whos even herd of

  • also celine dion has not sold that much either, she onley has one best selling album! your list is very innacurate!

  • Julio never sold even close to 200 million! thats a lie! and the beatles noe elvis sold even close to 1 billion! i mean elvis 1st off does not even have 1 best sellign album making it impossivble to sell that much, The beatles two best selling albums put together onley sold 60 million so its impossible for them to sell tht much, ABBA have onley sold 9 million albums in the states so they cant have sold even close to 375 million. The bee gees have onley sold 100 million it says on their bigrogphy

  • @onepolej Look it up bud. Look on rollingstone website. its all sited there and on many other sites. Also rolling stone had a top ten best selling band list come out in their magazine a few years back and this list is pretty much the same as it was then, numbers a little higher but not by much

  • @onepolej

You've obvioulsy not taken into account the millions of record sales in other languages other than English

  • @onepolej k abba was enourmous in europe theres more people in all europe then states so it is possible, where u getting ur info, wikipedia?

  • @onepolej Lol tha best selling album of all time is Michael Jackson's Thriller with close to 28 million. There's no way that Julio Iglesias has 22.

  • @MrZeewhiz Thriller sold 110 million

  • @ZZkahuna263 totally agree

  • i knew micle, elves, and the beatles would be the top 3

  • Beatles are the best in everyway

  • read the discription! its goign by record sales! mj soold 750million the beatles sold over 1billion

  • no we aren't arguing, just disagreeing, and im pretty sure Michael Jackson has been in 3rd for a while now

  • Good video not quite accurate but overall good...

  • whats not "accurate" about it?

  • Well the only thing would be that like for some of the positions there would be bands that are tied ? Like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd sold over 200 million ?

  • yes, it shows that on Wikipedia, but i looked at allot of other websites to see and this seemed to be the most common list and numbers

  • I also looked on other sites and my point still stands many artists / Bands could of been on the list.

  • there can't be more the 10 most successful in a top 10, no one is tied with the exact same numbers.

  • Obviously not, that wasn't my point....
