the streakes, and the animated bg's and stuff like dat ^_^

M'kay, I used the chroma keyer and adjusted it to the right color for the Streaks and had those on the top layer. o:

the streaks are from the anime ending.

And for bgs, I did the same thing, except I put them on the layer under the clip.

I got the bgs from photobucket. ^^

I think i can help.

it's usually around the top on a bar. it looks like a blue-ish purple disk(save button).

And to make a new movie, it's paper looking thing on the bar.

if you can't find it, click file, and should show "Save" or "Save as" and "New".

"New" will start a new movie thing.

I hope i helped and gave the right information that you needed. xD
