I agree with you! They sang with Elvis and many other artists of the day. I was listening to a Patsy Kline CD the other day and guess who was singing back up? The Jordanaires. I got to see them on the first Elvis Cruise in 2007 and they were great. Gordon was having some health issues though and last I heard he had just gotten out of the hospital. I hope he is doing better.

Perhaps in the beginning, I've been a fan since 77, and Ronnie has a fantastic Elvis sound, but has made his own career away from just Elvis singing, he often got pulled into it because of his "young" Elvis sound... I'm a writer so have had the pleasure of writing about things he's done over the years... someday hope to meet him...

@smartwriter I hope someday you'll meet Ronnie, too. I'm sure it'll be a nice experience for you. I met Ronnie in 1981 at the Osmond studios during a telethon. I still have 2 pictures of him, one of us together, and I cherish the memory. He is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.
