Great vid. Drivers like Senna, Berger, Alesi, Barrichello, Hakkinen, Mansell, Prost, and yes Michael Schumacher, were true legends of the sport, not measured just by thier success or lack of it, but by the way they interacted with other drivers on and off the track. They all had great personalities, and yes a few dodgy moments, but I loved the old days. Now its full of a load of pretty boy losers that get thier lip out if thier car has the wrong air freshener in it or something.

thanks a lot for your video, Gerhard was my favourite pilot from 1986 when he won his 1st gp on the Benetton, till end of 1997, i'm sad he never been world champion, in complement of his talent, he was a joker end so sympatetic !

Berger was actually pissed off at Suzuka 91 because his first win was a gift and not earned properly. But still they were friends for sure: Berger, Senna and Ron Dennis were always pranking. Google stories on the briefcase out of the helicopter and the frogs in the hotel room! :D Oh and the passport photo swap.

@gp4nut Incorrect on several accounts. First, Gerhard's first win was in Mexico in 1986 for Benetton, and he well and truly earned it as he was quite ill and it was exceedingly hot. Gerhard was the only driver gutsy enough not to stop. Second, Gerhard has never expressed dissatisfaction with what occurred at Suzuka; he was just happy that he won and Ayrton won the championship. He wasn't angry or anything. Learn your F1 history before making comments like that!

O brasileiro é um povo muito estranho, de opiniões unilaterais, quando Rubinho assinou com a Ferrari como segundo piloto e os fatos começaram a se expor, o povo brasileiro em geral passou a condenar as atitudes de Rubinho, Ferrari e Xume. Xume como piloto muito mais veloz em ritmo de treinos e principalmente corridas fez com Rubens o mesmo que Senna fez com o Austriaco. No entanto Senna é herói em nosso país, e Xumaker vilão, por ter feito coisas muito parecidas com seu idolo Senna...

@raxanci vitória do Berger, ela aconteceu em 1986(melhor temporada da minha geração) no GP do México, após isso ele venceu em 1987 no Japão e em Adelaide. Voce acha que foi bonito o que o Senna fez com o Berger nesse GP? Voce nao deve ter visto a corrida, vou relembrar.. Berger dispara, sena em segundo segurando o Mansell. Após o incidente com Mansell na curva 1, Senna busca Berger ultrapassa-o e dispara. Tem grave discussão com Ron Dennis e resolve acatar a ordem do patrão.
