And im a guy so that might also b a factor lol. But when i found out over the phone a while ago that Sherman, the horse that tought me everything, died i had to pull over on the side of the road i was cring so hard. He tought me to post. Here is a site that goes off USDA records and shows the number of horses slaughtered each year. If you would have used the links i provided you would have seen that if you take the average 100,000 horses slaughtered yearly(which is only 1% of the total US horse population) and divide it up by states you will see that its only 2.5 horses per county. Now im sure we can find something to do with the 2.5 horses per county instead of slaughtering them.

I only had 2 months. And I only really worked with my horse for 3 weeks of it all, and those were the best 3 weeks of my life, the only three weeks we worked together and learned together.

Heyy! this is soo sweet, my horse was recently killed in cyclone gonu and for a while i didnt know what i would do without him, he was my best friend ever. But now i know that he is somewhere safe & although there is nothing i can do about the fact i lost him, i can still remember all the amazing times i had with him.

I lost a horse too... His name was Sham and he got out of the paddock one day... Our neighbor was holding a grudge against Sham because he ate some of his prize flowers... anyway, Sham got in the street and our neighbor got in his car and drove by him with his gun and shot Sham down. Sham was such a beautiful colt. He was only 2 and he did not deserve to die the way he did...

If you would have used the links i provided you would have seen that if you take the average 100,000 horses slaughtered yearly(which is only 1% of the total US horse population) and divide it up by states you will see that its only 2.5 horses per county. Now im sure we can find something to do with the 2.5 horses per county instead of slaughtering them.

I only had 2 months. And I only really worked with my horse for 3 weeks of it all, and those were the best 3 weeks of my life, the only three weeks we worked together and learned together.

Heyy! this is soo sweet, my horse was recently killed in cyclone gonu and for a while i didnt know what i would do without him, he was my best friend ever. But now i know that he is somewhere safe & although there is nothing i can do about the fact i lost him, i can still remember all the amazing times i had with him.

i think evryone here should brace themselves a bit more. losing a horse is so sad. but everyone here is saying, i would die with out my horse, and this comment is not meant to be mean, but be prpeared. I owned a 30 yr old horse and we were talking to one of the boarders,about death in horses and she goes well theyll have to deal with it soon and once my mom said something like that and ya know at time i wanted to punch them but when he did pass it helped in the long run and im sorry 4 your loss.

I feel for you, I really do. I could not imagine losing my 2 horses but I did just loose one at my stable that I knew very well and it was one of the hardest things that I ever had to go through. That was 4 months ago and I still can't belive he's gone! Im soooo sorry!♥

i keep commenting on this video i dont know how many times but id just like to say again that im sorry. ive lost 5 horses all otgether on the same day and i know how you feel. but just remember that this horse is in a great place now where he can run free forever and never get hurt. he is probably waiting for you up there and cant wait to see you. may his memories live on in you forever sweetie.

I lost a horse too... His name was Sham and he got out of the paddock one day... Our neighbor was holding a grudge against Sham because he ate some of his prize flowers... anyway, Sham got in the street and our neighbor got in his car and drove by him with his gun and shot Sham down. Sham was such a beautiful colt. He was only 2 and he did not deserve to die the way he did...
