  • The first crocodile looks ridiculous!

  • if you look closely....at 0:37 ......you can see that the listrosaurus walk in the same pase......the whole group was made out of 1 computerized listrosaurus......

  • aww....they did a huge mistake by growing big >:P

  • The Allosaur was all like, "Eat dis, shortie." I just love the ending scene :)

  • we would be screwd if they were alive still

  • 2 people tried to cross the river.

  • youre dying! *trollface*

  • 4:58 "OK EXCUSE US WHILE WE CROSS THIS RIVER NOW AND GET SOME OF US SLAUGHTERED IN THE PROCESS, now watch quitely and enjoy the show, thank you."

  • @DaysofthePhoenixxx grass hadn't evolved 100 MYA...lol

  • The animation is a lot better than Walking With Dinosaurs. In WWD, they really sucked at animating movement- the animals were so stiff and their movements so fake

  • All i hear each part.

"And our ancestors will face their biggest challenge yet."

"And our ancestors will face their biggest challenge yet."

"And our ancestors will face their biggest challenge yet."

  • @TheWarning230 and lets not forget "this revolutionary skill was the first of its kind"

  • Hopefully those Lystrosaurs are firm believers in the God of the Jews so they can enjoy a good afterlife. I don't want to imagine a Lystrosaurus hell just because they potentially were godless heathens that believed in stupid things like Lystrosaurus gods or evolution.

  • I thing god made this creatures and he was trying to make them beter so he made ass and other kind of animals

  • @Rockedors1 lol it wasnt god theres no such thing its called EVOLUTION

  • 3:50 ima poku you, ima poke you

    -pokes-run's-

    evil lough muahaha

  • 7:58 Damn paparazzi

  • Amazing graphics! We started watching this at school today ( got up to part 2 ) and as soon as I got home, I put the rest on! I love ancient history of animals! :)

  • I think they just reanimate it into infared...

  • How the hell do they animate the creatures with infrared cameras??

  • The animation in the 'Walking with ...' series is absolutely unparalleled. I've seen other documentaries about similar subjects and the 'critters' look distinctly artificial. This series looks as though a camera crew was actually wandering around taking photographs (and trying not to end up as a quick snack, LOL).

  • Where was god?

  • @SolarisFlux ahah, believe me when I say this, dont bring up religon, it brings alot of hatred, be careful

  • @SolarisFlux Not real

  • @SolarisFlux HE WASNT THERE HES NOT REAL

  • We were fishes but I can't swim!!

  • @SolarisFlux you can even before you were born... you just forgot how to....

  • ------

  • hkuukjh

  • So this is how british bulldog started out...

  • 8:36 the one on the right is like "WHAT B|TCH!"

  • Wow I cant belieave it from a small little jellyfish turns into a big Dino!! :O

  • uparkaria is 1 cool reptile lol

  • Interesting

  • its so realistic!!

  • 8:55 - end is the main tune from Walking with Dinosaurs! I haven't heard it in years and forgot how amazing it is...

  • @tecteh1 the church/god was around at that time, man invented it later on.

  • @Eslates wasn't*

  • What is the difference between dinosaurs and the lizards at other times? Also are the dinosaurs related to the fanned backed things from previous episodes or are they different from them but we weren't shown their evolutionary root?

  • @Sadochrist The dimetrodons didn't evolve into dinosaurs. They are in the evolutionary line that leads to early mammal like reptiles, which eventually evolved into small mammals during the Triassic, same with the other species of fin-back that lived alongside dimetrodon. The difference between dinosaurs and previous lizards is that dinosaurs have special hips that distinguish them from other reptiles.

  • Is it just me, or did they really rush this series compared to the last 2? This was so informative, but I wish there was more!

  • @AzaDee78 They did rush it, since they didn't really do as good of a job on the possible behaviors. An example being Mesothelae chasing down a lizard. Ancient spiders didn't do that as they were ambush predators that used their burrows and trap door systems to catch prey. Even though they have more oxygen, they still had to contend with gravity. There's a few other examples of these sort of mistakes.

  • @S0XF0X Plus the river crossing part is exactly what occurs with african mammals and crocodiles today. And dimetrodon behavior is based mainly on the Komodo Dragon. =/

  • @ColdSideOfPillow136 I think for those segments, they were trying to fill niches that might've been around then that are still around today. One thing that bothered me with the Dimetrodons were the hatchlings had tall sails. How could they fit in the eggs with a set, bone sail?

  • @S0XF0X They got lazy for that part. The hatchlings were EXACT replicas of the adults.

  • 8: 37 LOL overgrown Euparkeria to the croc guy " Are u the one that bullied and tried to eat me minutes ago?"

  • @brainslow Weeel, to be fair, in the end the "croc guy"s prevailed, and the dinosaurs ( exluding birds ) died out.

Wait, no, considering the variety of birds, and how small diversity of crocodile like animals, it was still the "croc guys" who got the short end of the stick. Unless you consider that no bird today could stand toe to toe with a crocodile. :)

  • oh my god! they killed kenny!

    YOU BASTARDS!

  • @sasorinodanna13 where?? i cant see anything!

  • @theirishtraitor Welcome... to the stage of history?

  • Thumbs up if you think the coming of Dinosaurs at the end is epic

  • yes i remember it. but i dont remember the name.

  • Does anyone remember that Dinosaur movie called "Land of the small Dinosaurs" or something like that? It was about a velociraptor washed ashore on an island of miniature dinosaurs.

  • @roqua5 I think it is called 'the ballad of big al' or something

  • @roqua5 it is "Pod's Travels" episode of Dinosaur Planet which aired on Discovery Channel in 2003.

  • Does anyone remember that Dinosaur movie called "Land of the small Dinosaurs" or something like that? It was about a velociraptor washed ashore on an island of miniature dinosaurs.

  • Send this vid to the new PREHISTORIC CHANNEL. PREHISTORIC CHANNEL just launched.

  • yay allosauraus at the end!!!

  • 8:35 Walking With Dinosaurs Music :)

  • This documentary is wrong. We did not evolve from the lystrosaurus. We actually evolved from the therocephalians. The documentary plainly didn't address that.

  • @TreeHandThing

    When does it say that?

  • @MrBanman88 It says that lystrosaurus are the ancestors of mammals. That is wrong. Therocephalians, the direct ancestors to cynodonts, are.

  • ks there any higher quality of this?

  • Dinosaurs will always be awesome!!! :D

  • this series makes me shed tears sometimes... its just so remarkably made! WALKING WITH... SERIES SHOWS ALL LIFE ON EARTH TO THE PRESENT DAY! i love all of it

  • this series is great, theres no match for this; I wish there were more of such films; british people know what they pay for (I mean TV licence)

  • wat was that eupartharium eating?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • little lizard wins at life.litrily

  • 7:58 :S oppsy sorry camera man :(

  • Comment removed

  • how do they know that it had venom?

  • @blazereef One therocephalian fossil - with the species name Euchambersia mirabilis - has recesses behind its canine teeth analogous to those of venomous snakes. The possibly of them housing similar venom glands is accepted as a possibility by scientists.

  • @Hirvassalo cool

  • Lol 8:01 -8:04

Listrosaurus: * sniffs* Ewww... Cameraman did you forget to put on your deoderent again?

  • @DaysofthePhoenixxx It's WALKING WITH HUMANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's gonna happen in millions of years.

  • i like bloody things its so bloody fun to watch

  • Is it me, or is the design of the Allosaurus from 8:42 to 8:47 very similiar or the same to the Allo in BBC's The Lost World?

  • @clubpenguindino - Yes, it's the same one. :) But why not have the same design? (Although I think it looks dehydrated...)

  • @clubpenguindino yup right!!

  • i love the original wwd theme at the end

  • more about therocephalian

  • 3:51 WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!

  • love the ending evolution, the crocodile like one was like O: OMG!

  • Why not have more on the little poison fellows?

  • @NeoKiryu Correct.

  • the croc is like OMG that thing is huge!!!

  • 7:58 BONK!

  • The Lystrosaurs herd crossing to the river is probably are the first generation of Wider Beasts and Crocodile where it start from here until now.

  • @NeoKiryu Eupakeria is the direct ancestor, no doubt, considering it is able to stand on it's hind leg (blue prints for MOST of the two legged dinosaurs). Saltoposuchus could be ancestors for other dinosaurs, but I don't think it is the "direct" one, get what I'm saying? :P

  • Lol, gotta love it when listrosaurus walks into the camera at 7:58

  • there must be more episodes!!! I love them

  • I like how the Euparkeria grows next to the Chasmatosaur. The Chasmatosaur looks utterly terrified

    LOL

    XD

  • way to blatantly re-use material guys!!

    nah...i kid.

  • Why did they segue straight to the Jurassic? It would have made more sense to end with one of the celofises (sp?) from the first episode of Walking with Dinosaurs.

  • @Shadoom14 Yeah, you're right, coelophysis from Walking with dinosaurs is very equal to the Euparkeria, and who knows? maybe coelophysis (along with herreasaurus and eoraptor) evolved into the other theropods?

  • @Shadoom14 They probably skipped to the Jurassic for effect, showing the dinosaurs in one of their prime times. Plus, there's nothing like a Euparkeria stopping by a Chasmatosaur and evolve into our beloved badass Big Al, and then tell said Chasmatosaur to go fuck himself! And then there's the music...

  • woohoo, final video!!

  • Sounds like you took a load off your back. =P

One thing i didn't like in these otherwise cool videos is the sound. The sound technician felt the need to make these creatures grunt in some way or another at all times, which is kinda dumb.

They hve a high dose of entertainment, but they're cool anyway.

  • and they are usually very sad grunts. uuuuuhh... uuuuuuhhh....

  • well if all you had to do all day is eat sleep and crap.. wouldnt you be depressed? :P

  • @Unique08Freak I would be even m ore depressed if I kept moaning about it 24x7 :-)

  • @lardhat for exemple the listrosaurus that sounds like a pig?

  • @MsMariosonic

I don't remember. It's been almost a year. What time?

  • this is really great

  • lol i like it when the listrosurs walks into the camra Great vid :D

  • Much Agreed!Listrosaurus is walking and runs into camera!GREAT!

  • lol and the one right after gave him a look that said "shudda looked where you were going numbnuts"

  • @duchene1 it made me lol

  • @apdaoud hah! I just came out of full-screen mode to say that

  • @apdaoud lol yeah i like how he sniffs it. he was probably thinking: "wtf?"

  • @stix365 tell me the part?

  • @SuperHhhbk around 7:55

  • @stix365 lol
