It's not about "in her backyard", the Escarpment is the main source of drinking water for a LOT of southern ontario. Jobs are never worth the long term health of the society, cause if we're all dead, we can't work anyway.

First and foremost, she is one helluva songwriter and singer. I have all her stuff and it is in heavy rotation. I'll probably never get to see her perform live which is a bummer. But what is ultra cool about her is that she is uniquely beautiful and it seems like she has no idea. I love that.

Yea..she has been around for awhile here in Canada.She had a band called Weeping Tile in the 90's.I can't say I have a favorite by her because seems as though everything she does is really great.The song "aglow" is close to my fave I guess.
