  • In absolute love with her lyrical genius, voice and pure beauty. Damn.

  • What show is this from?

  • She always pretends she'll help out up coming bands and nothing ever happens. Also Luther (real name Ross) sucks the big one. They sicken me. Just really sicken me. Also Ross needs a big shot in the face to bring him down to reality....don't sleep with him girls...

  • @barachdan

    I know Ross...he's a good man.

  • i know her :)

  • Voice like a cool mountain stream. A canadian treasure.

  • Just listen to that voice. If a perfect voice there was , this would be it.

  • I sure do like this song. Since my water comes from a well, I sure do get the point. It is too bad the people in the subdivisions can't get their head's out of their......

  • Woo. She's coming to Edmonton :D

  • @qball141 wow, dude, you just sprayed the whole screen with ka-ka, who's really got their head up their ass, hmmm?

  • Kindof a mix of Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris and Maria Muldaur.

  • hey isnt she great. another great songwriter from a long line of Canadian songsmiths. Wonderful!

  • This song could not be more relevant to all of us Huronia an Grey County types that adore the Beaver Valley and the escarpment generally!

  • She's a gem.

  • @slugg63

Neil Young, Joni unknown? are you insane?

Neil is in rock and roll hall of fame twice, and should've been a 3rd time for CSNY.. Joni is rated one of the top artists of all time by rolling stone.

  • @slugg63 hah! nobody's heard of rush, or the guess who, or celine, or sarah mclachlin. jd lang is unheard of as is leonard cohen. nobody's ever covered gordon ighfoot or heard of hank williams or shania twain, or avril or paul brandt, or the band or bto or anne murray or diana krall or alanis morisette or buffy ste marie or david clayton thomas or steppenwolf and born to be wild

    it's appalling really.

  • this is what music is about....love sarah...come to Nova scotia!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing peepers ya got there, great song.

  • I want to marry her.

They should rename the juno's after her.

  • i love her

  • i sang with her!!!! i was in the choir at my school and we got the chance to sing with her at the Empire Theatre on Belleville Ontario it was GREAT, she is so nice and down to earth, good voice!

  • Undisputed Queen of Canada. As for underrated musicians, Canada is stuffed full of them. Luke Doucet, Melissa McLelland, Amelia Curran, and that's just one genre. The Constantines and The Sadies are more. I could literally go on forever. We are talent rich.

  • you forgot to mention howie beck, who's actually a friend of sarah harmer as well. i agree, you guys are stuffed with talent!

  • Omg she is so pretty!!! *___*

  • Canada's most underrated musician.

  • nay nay, Danny Michel

  • nice sound for a "live" song

she has a very nice voice

  • Great song, very good singer, but she seems a little nervous. Different to the promo clips. No need for disconfidence, Sarah. You rock!!

  • Sweet sweet girl.......

  • @onlywhenprovoked Angel from Montgomery?

  • Idiot.

  • She has an amazing voice.

  • She rocks!!! i love this song and The ring and Im a mountain

  • One of my favourite songs by her... I went to the I Love The Escarpment Too, and I just realized I live like a kilometre from her family farm:D

  • I guess what you have to decide is 50, 100, even 1000 jobs worth destroying an important part of our ecosystem for? I'm with Sarah on this one, and thoroughly enjoy this fine Canadian artist.

  • It's not about "in her backyard", the Escarpment is the main source of drinking water for a LOT of southern ontario. Jobs are never worth the long term health of the society, cause if we're all dead, we can't work anyway.

  • First and foremost, she is one helluva songwriter and singer. I have all her stuff and it is in heavy rotation. I'll probably never get to see her perform live which is a bummer. But what is ultra cool about her is that she is uniquely beautiful and it seems like she has no idea. I love that.

  • Great voice and feel just beautiful...

  • her voice is beyond amazing. love her!

  • Amazing How A Performance Like This Can Change Your Opinion. Great Song!

  • What an incredible performance! She's amazing.

  • Absolutely stunning!

  • I love this song. Sarah's fast becoming one of my favourite musicians!

  • Apparently she did manage to save the escarpment. At least a portion of it... :-)

  • is sarah underrated? i know here in the states hardly anyone knows who she is, but in canada it seems everyone knows who she is. and she is definitely a respected musician.

is getting played on commercial radio all that important? i don't think so, especially in this day and technological age.

  • We Canadians keep the best(SARAH HARMER) and let you have the "real gems" like celine dion..HAHAHAHA

  • I'm from Philadelphia Pa and this is the first time I've heard her or of her and she is really a fabulous musician and performer. Wow

  • Yea..she has been around for awhile here in Canada. She had a band called Weeping Tile in the 90's.I can't say I have a favorite by her because seems as though everything she does is really great. The song "aglow" is close to my fave I guess.

  • Thanks for that. Wow I think she is a super and natural talent. I really loved her song here. Reminds me of another super talented and prolific singer-song writer also from Canada, Joni Mitchell who blew everyone away back then.

  • She is very much appreciated when she comes to Montreal!

  • absolutely incredible and most definitely underrated

  • Bravo, Sarah !!!

We're fighting the same kind of battles against greedy housing developers out here on the West Coast.  I hope more people stand with you in your fight to protect nature.

  • i'm a guy who listens to 99% rock but sarah is absolutely amazing and pure - love her.

  • I love you, CBC!

  • Astonishing how pure her voice is, a true singer to the core. No tricks, no effects, just soul, grace and love of nature. A goddess on every level.

Canada's finest... ranks up there just behind Jane Siberry.

  • the song is great!

  • sarah is underrated...fuck commercial radio for not playing her. She has an amazing voice.

  • Gives me goosebumps:)

  • Sarah is such an amazing singer. She is wonderful to see live, especially at a small intimate venue.

  • I totally agree!

She managed to save the escarpment!

  • Amazing song and singer!

  • Pretty cool song but Sarah being a better guitarist than Alex Lifeson, not a chance. In fact now that I think about it that's pretty funny.

  • Sarah's amazing! She's a beautiful girl and her voice is just awesome. I'd love to see her play live...

  • What a beautiful song about my home... Thank you for posting.

  • girls got a beautiful set o' pipes...AND she's hot

  • Awesome upload!

  • an absolute angel she is........beautiful voice

  • She's a way better guitarist than Alex Lifeson!

  • WHAT?You're kidding

  • Dude, she beat Rush at the Junos. Alex will have to start taking lessons from her :P

  • God damn, she's awesome.

  • so sweet voice

  • Thank you so much for uploading this video! Much appreciated. Is this a snip-it from the DVD of the same name?

  • Unfortunately, this is the only song she performed on the show. She was there mainly to promote her cause to save the Ontario escarpment. I'd love to see her live.

  • I have seen her live twice. Both great concerts.
