Who is Michael Taylor? When i saw these guys at The Shepherds Bush Empire a few years back Robert Williams was playing drums for the 'vocal' half of the show.
No offense to anyone, including DVV up yonder in Trinidad or where-ever, but players with skills like this should be doing new music. French's solo drum album, Lucas' many recordings, all are real achievements. Why don't we fans support them as solo acts, and just let the Beefheart stuff be a footnote to their own music? (I'm guilty, too, sometimes.)Just wondering...

Just found this stuff - been a Capt fan for years - very accurate sound - seen the clips with the vocals - he's dead? If so that is a major downer.
