  • great job! i unfortunately never regained the use of my left hand but my left arm moves. it's amazing what you're doing. i was told i'd never walk again but i am. keep on working! :)

  • I'm a stroke survivor. I never knew doing such simple tasks could be so much work. The sheer concentration needed to get it it don was as about as tiring as the physical part. But what are to do? Not doing it really isn't a good option.

  • This offers such hope for patients recovering after stroke. Hope for stroke -

  • I saw this video and cried. I'm trying this device soon. What a miracle it would be if it works. People who can use both hands have no idea!

  • thanks for sharing... my mum bought a rehabilitation device from tyromotion... i dont remember the name, but she recovered so fast... maybe you'll try that too...

    Hope you get better soon...

  • No, Steve hasn't used it.

  • i just wanted to ask if you used the Pablo hand/arm System of Tyromotion too???

  • Check out Chinese acupuncture -- some considerable scientific evidence that significant improvements can be made.

  • I think I shall get both l300 and the hand unit for my l-side hemiparesis

  • I'm sorry to hear that. Every stroke is different, and early therapy is usually effective. But not everyone will regain function of their affected side.

  • What if the patient can not move their hand at all after a stroke? Is this device will be useful for them?

    Thank you.

  • It may help. My husband couldn't move his hand either. He can grasp now, but not open yet. It's coming back slowly but not because of the Bioness. He used it only a few times. We found regular therapy to be just as effective. He worked his fingers daily opening and closing them with his other hand. That stimulated the brain & kept the tendons in the hand supple. Once they tighten up, it's very hard for the hand to come back. Try calling a hospital therapy dept. to see if you can try one out.

  • My grandmother had a stroke 10 years ago which resulted in right hemiplegia.

Now, she can't move her right arm. She does stretching exercises 3 time a day with her grand-daughter. But she doesn't exercise by herself. She never try to open her hand or move her arm.

I think all the exercising she has done is useless because it did not make her any better. I did not stimulate her brain and keep the nerves alive.

  • I've been through it too. A good progress, thoogh slow, is worth the wait. I wish you happiness, You're terrific!
