well what would jon and set do when they play live? i know that they didnt play all of reinkaos live, but the original songs were standard tuning but you dont see them changing tuning between each song?!
They play almost all songs in one tune independant from the tune of the studio versions. Even on "Live Legacy" they didn´t play the songs from Somberlain + SOTLB with an E-tune like the studio records.
I think Jon decided to use different guitar tunes for each song because of the sound. If you would play "God of Forbidden Light" with a E-tuned guitar, it would be very different (e.g. in it´s atmosphere) to the original (C tuned). Some compositions sound better in various settings.
And regarding the live perfomance: It sounds clear that DISSECTION uses one or two different settings, otherwise they´d change the tune of almost every song.

The studio album hasn´t got a continious tune.
For example:
Starless Aeon: D
Maha Kali: C#
God of Forbidden Light: C

You can find some Reinkaos Tabs on the web. I picked some parts out of myself, but also used tabs from the net.
