This car in the NTHSA crash test got 5 stars in front and side crash test for both driver and ppassenger......that is really save....more expensive cars can quite macth a 5 star side crash test!!

Its so amazing how fast it all happens. When you watch the video at first it seems like if this were to happen in real life it would take forever. Then it plays in real time and its over in just a second or two. So much damage in so little time.

Looks like the passenger compartment stayed intact. Side impact air curtains for 1st & 2nd row as standard equipment!! 4 & 5 star crash ratings too!!

Honda has only one car that got a 4 star instead of a 5. That would be the Civic and only on the side test. Every other Honda receives 5 stars for frontal impact, side impact and rear impact. Few GMs can compete. Hondas also come standard with Electronic Stability Control which GM doesn't make standard on all cars because they are so cheap. Oh and not only do Hondas have side curtain airbags, they also have side chest and torso airbags. Don't let these lies fool you, because they used to me! :)

Hondas are a great car but you should stop talking because you sound just a bit ignorant. Honda's are overprices buckets of plastic-I would never spend 30K+ on an Accord, that's robbery. I would rather have a Chevy Malibu, Nissan Altima-Maxima, Volvo, Volkswagen...you name it. Honda's are bland and boring, and they are far from being the best!

and another thing, you obviously don't know what your talking about because the Accord that got 3 stars, not 4 or 5. Also when IIHS crashed the fit into the Accord they rated the fit as "Poor" in every aspect. The Element also gets the "Worst" rating of "Poor" in the side test. Overall General Motors has more cars in it's line up that get a better MPG and rate higher with IIHS then Honda, this gives you more of an option when looking for a new car. Everything I stated was fact, now suck it. lol

@yomanlol101 Interesting perspective but only half of what you say 'could' be true. General Motors builds more models than Honda Motor Company, therefore, GM build many different types of vehicles. If Honda builds 5 models and all rate GOOD in a crash test and GM has 35 models, and 15 rate GOOD in crash tests. Which builds more models rated GOOD? Same scenario for MPG and reliability. See how math and logic works?
