Carlos Martin currently is 19th in the Aqueduct trainer standings
At least in 2007 or 2008 did not finish in the top 100 traines in wins either year ( would have needed 70)
He is a very very average training claimer , nothing more

@televin : If you knew anything about racing you would know that the NY Market is in the top 3 racing markets in the nation, amongst Florida and California. Carlos was the youngest trainer to ever get a license in the history of racing, at age 18. He also was the youngest trainer to win a Grade 1 at age 21, with Buy the Firm. He earns over a million dollars a year for his clients, consistently for the last decade. His is clients' profits yield double digits every yr. Get a clue.

Not only is he young and talented but he a great human being. He carriers the Martin tradition from his Granddad Pancho to his father the late Jose Martin which also was outstanding individual. I will see Carlos Martin in the Hall of Fame one day.

Carlos Martin is one of the most underrated trainers in New York. His father was classy and talented, and I actually think Carlos is better than pop.
