300zx are underrated and beasts even stock if they are stripped down (they tend to be heavy) and given some breathing mods (straight exhaust and pop charger).

thats why they should swap them into cars like rx7 and 240sx. tobad everyones too lazy to do it. they are cheap too- a bit over 1k tt engine full tranny ect from japan same price as the "JdM tYtE y0" Super Rice 20det

Hey not all of us are to lazy I am putting a VG30DETT Into my rx7 Its going to be a year or so though i got the car but thats were it at got a project to get finished first. Question were you finding the motors that cheap having a problem finding cheap ones that are still good?

a pop charger is just a cone filter instead of the airbox. and it'd cost more to turbo your NA than it would to just swap a tt engine

You can boost the N/A but you would be limited on how much boost the N/A is 10.5:1 compression the TT is 8.5:1 compression more boost friendly although we just boosted a I-vtec honda that has 11.1:1 compression and a good tune typically unless you have the know how it is probably equal in price considering you have to buy the motor and some motor inport companies don't ship the IC fender piping which cost $700. Unless you have a garage and time to test tune ans so on I would do the swap

well i think that the 300zx twin turbo is better for top end than the skyline. the skyline is a fantastic gt car, the 300z is a true sports car with unbelievable aerodynamics and a fantastic engine with lots of torque and high end power.

iirc the fastest 300zx ever hit something like 416kph on the bonneville salt flats (that's just shy of 260mph folks)

fastest full weight supra is ryan woons hitting 8.6

and fastest street tire supra is titans or virtual works hitting 7.9s

300zx and Supra are both great cars. The Skyline has both beat though in pure performance. The 300 has both beat in looks(in my opinion). But where is Toyotas answer to the Skyline performance wise? They never made one or couldn't.

The 300zx was built for looks and performance, compare a Z32 TT to a R33 Gts-t and the Zed will have it eaten alive.. The Zed came in V6 TT 3.0L, so purely.. it was made for performance.

no the fastest street supra iv ever seen was 9.0 and it had illegal race tires on althought iv seen skylines get 8.0 street legal
