I just watched parts 1 through most of 39, & I just can't take any more of this. The plot is stupid, the acting pathetic, the love, joy & romance, never mind sex, nonexistent!
Are there a few parts I could fast-forward to that might actually be fun to watch? It doesn't have to be all roses & rainbows, just something like Will connecting with someone he actually loves, not just some girl whose feelings he doesn't want to hurt?
Maybe I should ask this where the action is, the most recent show.
I'm sorry, Sammi needs a good smack across the face right now. I don't care that her Johnny is missing, there is no excuse for lashing out to that extreme at the people who are trying to help. Has it crossed her vapid little mind that perhaps there are others suffering in this circumstance besides her? And I don't recall Rafe putting a gun to her head to make her go. So she wants to blame someone, look in the damned mirror.

So they lure us in - dangling the gay blond boy card and then when they know we're on the hook they sink us into all of this crap knowing we're still gonna hang on to hope cause there isn't another NA soap with gay characters.... THIS IS CRAP.... But of course I'll hang in...
@MavenCree I disagree! Alison Sweeney is an amazing actress, and so is Chandler Massey, they both brought tears to my eyes... I love this show unlike most of you, even though I agree that it goes too slowly, it's still an amazing show! The storylines are so unbelievably amazing!
This is what should have come out of John's mouth: "Well, Will, as an ex-cop, I can tell you that the first 24 hours are crucial in a missing persons case. The fact is that the chances of finding Johnny diminish with every hour lost. After the first 48 hours, there is almost no chance of finding him alive, but I'm sure the Force is doing everything they can because your family happens to pretty much run this town."
I love Sami, all of her points are true. She feels let down by Rafe and Marlena the people she loves and needs the most. Rafe is an FBI agent he had to think that it was not safe to bring the kids to the pub to see John, a man who is believed to have stolen millions from people. He didn't trust her instincts and now Johnny is missing
You would think that they would have tried to make Sammy a sympathetic character, with her kid missing and all that. Instead, they made her seem like a crazy unlikeable shrew. All through these clips, I just keep thinking "What a bitch" instead of "That poor woman."

John sounds so much like a politician. I'm sorry, but he does. And I get why Sami is so angry. I mean Johnny was with his family, but no one paid enough attention to him to know that he went missing. It's quite sad and I think Sami is blaming herself but she just needs someone to blame it on. I think any mother will be freaking out and lashing out anger at anyone who tries to calm her down, but until she sees her child alive and well, there is not much people can do.
I think the writing and acting are really good, especially the actress playing Sami. She is absolutely believable. I would love for the writers to take another step in the Will and Sonny relationship by having Sonny hug Will and have Will finally break down while someone else is strong for him.

Would at least like to see some interaction - as one friend to another - between Will & Sonny alone on camera. The way things stand it's difficult to tell they're actually friends. I can relate a lot to what Will is going through? Why are people shutting Will up? I go through this a lot with my family and I'm the only gay person in my family.

Amazing acting/realism on several fronts here. Glad to see something improve in that department!
Personally, I believe it is stupid for Sami to blame Rafe or for Rafe to blame himself. No one can predict the future. There are too many variables to life to accurately anticipate every danger and mistakes are made. But Sami's obviously upset, I get it. At least this is a better storyline than the whole "OUR WEBSITE BLAH BLAH BLAH" thing of old (hopefully).

You could easily believe they are family.
