Ledgehop (hit down while on the ledge, then use your second jump) and then hit B twice while holding forward after hitting B the first time. It's quite easy compared to most things, so you should get it after a few tries :o

That is what makes Ken good. He found ways to be good even when people around him sucked. He's the main reason for why Marths are like they are today. And the good pros today are shaped by watching and playing against the old pros. That's why I think Ken is king, he advanced the Marth metagame so much, which affected a lot of other character's metagame. I do think Mew2king is great and awesome, but I feel the king should be for whoever dominated their period, whether it sucked or not

actually as someone who mains falco for 3 years now i'd say fair is pretty good vs marths, because vs falco marths' have an instinct to shield grab after the first hit, where fair has 2 hits. if your in a combo and need a move that wont hit opponents too far, then its a good choice.plus its ranged too.
but the problem is if l-canceled the fair lag is a frame-wise a whole shitload worse then nair or dair =/
if youu lightshield at the edge and marth tries to sweetspot you grab it before he does. its because the tip of the sword first hits the side of the lightshield that is close to the middle of the stage, pushing you away from it and off the ledge
yeah and to add on to margrietx's post, you also have to DI towards the edge to make sure you fall and grab on. Otherwise you will just stay standing on the ledge.
It's so much harder to use Marth and to win with him that you can't be right. Besides all the tech you need with falco is basic, actually being in control of you character takes the same skill as other characters. Shinedashing takes like two weeks practice. Not sucking with Marth takes a lot of experience. PS I don't main Marth but I know.
i disagree having played both to a good level, falco requires a lot faster finger movement and different button combinations whereas marth is all about spacing and timing, probably harder to do the good stuff with falco but harder to master marth

Nah, PC uses fox more often. Forward still goes to tourneys. Shiz and forward are almost even, shiz did get better, from recent tourney results (i was at ltec2! :D) and m2k has had a better marth than ken for quite some time now.
ken and m2k made the falco population go down.... now marth's are dominating, and probably will keep on doing for some time. if this game remains popular, it is a given that some kid will revolutionize the falco game and bring falco's back up, just like savior and july revolutionized zerg after nada and boxer nearly wiped them all out

It's a little trick you can do with the light shield. I don't know the name of it (if there is one) but all you need to do is light shield (Z) and hold which ever direction the ledge is so in this case, Forward held left.
