  • Yes, they are for there are no left handed people in Japan. Well, Japanese parents correct their children if they are left handed.  I believe that the Japanese are accepting left handed people much better than the olden days.

  • is there a scary tale story on lefthanded people in Japan? In my country it was said that lefties didn't go to heaven, but that's old people superstision.

  • @OmegaWolf747 yh they are and as you can see when they finish moving the chopsticks about it end up in there right hand :)

  • I thought you were never to place your chopsticks upon the table, is that only when there is food?

  • There is a small chopsticks' stand on the table. You put chopsticks on the stand so that the tips of chopsticks don't touch the table.
