As a black man, i get mf'ing tired when i hear Black women judging other black womens looks and all the foolish criticism of each others beauty and appearances, y'all hate on each other too much and its pretty damn comical to me. Half wigs to. But it expected of them to have long hair so it goes unnoticed for the most part . I'm a weave wearer to the day I die. I have long hair of my very on. I like the versatility of weave. @BlakeBarbieDoll lmao!!!!! I was trying to find a good pic of a natural fro, but my computer was freezing and I was anxious to get the video done and settled for this. Glad it could make u laugh. lol
OK, you are right weave DOES give BW versatility. Other than that I have grown to have little to no appreciation for them. My main issue is that BW are usually attaching hair on their head that once belonged to a W of another race. That does translate to self-hate in the minds of many (even if the BW has no self-hate issues). I do not like the way cultural outsiders perceive us when we wear them. I have seen many IW and WW question BW who have weaved their hair and I wanted to cringe.
Not everyone looks good with short hair. Not everyone has the face for it. When I first saw Solange with weave I was shocked, but in the end it kind of grew on me. Kinda...lol
