  • Ponies brought me here :3

  • I love how she always held her composure no matter what he said

  • One of the ads in December 2011's vogue really disappointed me. An ad for L'oreal mascara featuring gwen stefani featured HORRENDOUS photoshopping. The eyelashes weren't e(apologies) even attached to her eyes.

  • It's time to make... DE MAGICKS!

  • Who else expected her to sound like Photo Finish?

  • ZE MAJIKS!

  • I was brought by ponies

  • such a double standard that a woman in power is 'needy', 'bitch', "i'm a boss and you're boring", 'cold', but if she was male the interviewer wouldn't be so dismissive and patronising

  • This was wonderful.

  • What a stupid interview, the interviewer seemed to think The Devil Wears Prada was a documentary. It was exaggerated for entertainment. Why is a woman a bitch because she's successful, strong and good at her job?

  • FLOOTOOSHY!!!

  • I think she defends herself quite well in this interview. The interviewer keeps trying to make her seem somewhat evil, but I didn't get that impression from her at all. She is the head of an operation, and that means that she must be in charge and make decisions. I don't understand why people jump to the conclusion that being in control makes someone a bad person. Despite what anyone says, she is good at whatever it is that she is doing and it's obvious.

  • Yeah Safer was pretty disrespectful. I suppose because he thinks what she does is a joke. But she works hard, she appreciates professionalism and a good work ethic...and there's nothing wrong with that. Not to mention Safer should not forget fashion brings in billions and billions of dollars a year to the global economy...and she has a huge part in that.

  • much of the importance of Anna Wintour's work is, in a way, to ensure the survival of the fashion industry not only creatively but in editorial as well, and THAT is highly, highly important

  • i am NOT into fashion AT ALL...but the power of this woman has IN her field intrigues me..and yes, she is a true DISCIPLINARIAN...

  • Do you ever fart into your closed fist and then quickly bring it to your nose to have a nice, deep whiff?

  • @UljezMiSe OMG! I thought I was the only one (tear rolling down the cheek)....how....how....precious...thank you!

  • @EndOpressionSession hahaha lol I do it too. And im a girl.

  • @EndOpressionSession i even taste the air sometimes lol

  • @trollingandhating you must close your fist tighter and act faster in regards to how quickly you bring it to your nose.

  • I think there is a double standard toward aggressive women and men. But aggression is not something good. In today's world money talks so it is promoted and encouraged, but the downsides are many and hidden away beyond the shield of management. Aggressive people are often leeches on others who use intimidation to gain power; I think their talent is power politics not necessarily good work.

  • this interview is so disrespectful.

  • I admire her. I love Morley Safer's interviews.

  • I got here from Ponies.

  • at 00:50 for a second, i thought anna wintour is karl lagerfild's twin sister.

  • Lol Karl Lagerfeld is dressed like Dracula. Why would they get some old dude that knows nothing of the fashion world to interview Anna WINTER???

  • SHE KNOWS HOW TO ANSWER INTELLIGENTLY AND THE INTERVIEWER IS THE REAL BITCH

  • I don't know if they could have made a worse choice for the correspondent on this story. Makes absolutely no sense.

  • The MAGIX!!!

  • stuff the old geezer!!! the fashion world NEEDS Anna!!!!! I mean it just won;t be the same without her!!!!!!!!!! Uh!!!! Haters gonna hate. But as a girls I aspire to be a woman like Anna!!! Whatever anybody says ain't gonna matter. I mean look at her!!! She's in control of her position 'cause she knows what she should do and act like with her amount of responsibility!!!

  • I love how the interviewer keeps trying to make her say she's a bitch. But would a male CEO be getting questions about why he isn't approachable?

Why must women always seem approachable?? She's fabulous and she owns it.

  • MLP brought me here...

  • I really understand what she says. Work for me ,or, work with me. Same on a schedule.

  • The fashion world is so frivolous. How much work has she had done? :D

  • I love Anna Wintour. She is a wonderful and powerful woman. She's the Chef Ramsay of the fashion world.

  • She's nice for the cameras.

  • No matter what people say about Anna, the fact is that she is the BEST and she is BRILLIANT at what she does.

  • awww i love her dispite all of the negative media attention that surrounds her

  • Why did she look like she had a mustache at 00:52?

  • Damn... She's kinda creepy at 1:13

  • I love how Andre and Grace are like her partners in crime.

  • This woman IS fashion. If it wasen't for her, we would all dress in Old Navy..Ugghh..

  • @ccipollini1984 thats a little legally blonde, i don't even know a bit about anna wintour actually i think she has horrible style and that har barf but still i love fashionable with or without her

  • Anna...what an inspiration.

  • Brohoof to all who are here because of Photo Finish.

  • Humans should stop doing parodies of My Little Pony

  • 8:54 Hoity Toity comes on the scene.

  • "everybody is Russian"

  • STOP IMPERSONATING PHOTOFINISH!!!

  • I LOVE YOU !!!!!!! <3

  • she's doing her JOB. she gives a 100% in everything she does ( EVERYONE should give 100%). So if she might come on as a bitch just remember she is doing her JOB and is doing a damn good job at it. so shut the hell up.

  • i came her from my little pony friendship is magic

  • @tomisstressed Me too :D

  • @xSh0ckWaVe, hell yeah, BROHOOF!!!

  • @tomisstressed PONIES

    PONIES EVERYWHERE

  • @CrispyYoshi i told you there'd be bronies.

  • @CrispyYoshi You shall be assimilated into the herd, resistance is futile

  • @artizak I'm already part of the herd. :v

  • Photo Finish?

  • @42underscored Yep.

  • This interview is a complete disrespect to one of the most creative and visionary person of the 21st century. She does nothing but hard work and strives for the best, that's why vogue IS the best. And here is this tool compromising his integrity as a journalist just so he can make her look as a bitch, trying to put down all the creative thinking that goes into a publication like Vogue. Next time find a respectful journalist to conduct and interview with a woman of her calibre.

  • The gall of this OLD MAN.. Who is he to belittle Galliano's outfit?

  • The gall of this OLD MAN.. Who is he to belittle Galliano's outfit?

  • @neowurkz

he's bitter because he's in depends.

  • DA MAGICKS!

  • Very inspiring

  • Anna Wintour is badass

  • that interviewer looks like he's about to kick the bucket

  • Anna you are an inspiration

  • that remark about him needing a better tailor was arrogant

  • @Rosky12 HE needs one!

  • does this senile old man not realize that this woman could probably get him fired?

  • What about how she works, how she succeeds? This interview is so sexist! Would the same interview ever happen for the editor of Vanity Fair, a man? No. Well, old white man Safer shows the sexism typical of his world.

  • fuck the interviewer love anna wintour

  • i just came to find out who this woman was two days ago...i am NOT into fashion at all...but i must admit..THIS WOMAN IS A GENIUS.....

  • "certainly, very quietly" *glaring mischievous eyes* (translation: not before i cause enough chaos and damage in my absence :) )

  • She looks scary.. the surgery is hidious!

  • A Scorpio woman after my own heart! Anna u Rock :) Keep conquering your dream!!

  • LOVE LAGERFELD!

  • I might start a vogue subscription, can anyone tell me if it's really that good?

  • 7:34 - 8:02

Oh my god, what the fuck was he talking about? What kind of blurb about the fashion industry is that?

That is the most insulting thing I have ever herd. Seriously Morley needs to die, he is becoming too old for the media.

  • If it wasn't for Anna, people would think those who are in the creative industry are lazy bums who just over indulge themselves.

  • Very frustrating to watch the absolute disrespect of Morley Safer toward Ms. Wintour and her industry. I am actually embarrassed for him.

  • I love her! She's smart!

  • This interview is completely disgraceful on his part. All it showed is how Anna Wintour can keep composed and just how amazing she is.

  • @cupcakezombiie Yeah, you can really tell he was trying to piss her off

  • "look at you, not hair out of place, do you think its your mission to look perfect?? " Worst and most insulting and judgemental question ever....duh yeah of course, what part of her composure makes you think she is self-obsessed...

  • @ThePinkRex my thoughts exactly!!

  • i want to bitch slap this guy so hard

  • LOLLOLOL Christian Dior is propably so pissed at Wintour for making him hire Hilter loving Galliano right now.

  • I admire the hell out of this woman. She is an artist and knows what she wants. That's what i love in a person.

  • "I understand that, I understand that, I understand that...." Doesn't seem like it Morley.

  • I got inspired to Youtube Anna Wintour after watching DWP twice today.... and I've realised, she's only human. I mean, yeah she lives the high life but she's focused and confident at what she does, she's grounded, unlike others who might take it for granted. Although she's perhaps not the best role model to everyone, she's still an inspiration, not only to girls and woman, but everyone who wants to be successful. That's all. XD

  • No one ever makes mention of how witty she is. If you listen to her in interviews she constantly makes jokes that are actually funny, including here with that annoying asshole asking her questions.

  • "Miranda Priestly" is more harsh than Wintour

  • She sounds like my mother.

  • 1200 $ for that rag

  • If this is what it means to be a bitch, then I shall strive to be a bitch. She is a role-model.

  • Wow, she's so...great!

  • this is the 2nd time i stumble upon very very annoying ads on youtube... my internet connection is already slow, but this... just so you youtube people know, i'm very disappointed with you guys: i thought here we were safe from the constant manipulation and assault we suffer everywhere else from constant and tiring advertising, but I guess I was wrong.

  • too many adds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow... I think I love her.

And now I must got watch The Devil Wears Prada for the 10th time.

  • So in business if a woman is driven, decisive, ambitious and knows how to get what she wants she's a "bitch". If a man has these qualities, however, he is a great leader and a great businessman. What a bunch of horse shit! Such double standards. I can not believe these views are still thrust upon women in this day and age. It is so fucking archaic!

  • @SkankExpose No if a man has those qualities he's a prick or a conceited a-hole.

  • If this were a man, there is no way he would have had this kind of reputation, He would be considered tough...period. A word like bitch would never surface. And this is the 21st century.

  • @swarze

No, they call that man Donald Trump.

  • just watched devil wears prada lol.

  • i laught at 2.53 XD

  • quality interview

  • @charminglayla Her facil features are simian-like, and she has horrible posture, she slouches horribly!

  • Come on, YouTube, what's with the ads? I liked YouTube because it had no ads

  • @griekitis

use ad block plus in firefox

    no ads!!!

  • @griekitis Youtube's just trying to make money.

  • @griekitis Do you want to pay to use YouTube?

That's what would happen if there were no ads.

  • I adore Anna as well and believe she is an incredibly hard worker. I find the interviewer Morley Safer to be rude and belittling in many of his comments and statements.

  • I never heard of Anna until "Devil..." I would hate to work for her and Miranda but I do like and think she is inspiring. Her comment about how she and her employees are there to work is spot on, I could never survive in her world but I admire those who can. And the fact that she has been at this for so long and has so many loyal to her has to say something about the kind of person she is.

  • I would love to meet Anna Wintour. I admire her so much.

  • Man, the only people on earth that just don't like her clearly just don't understand what it is she does or just don't care for it

  • the interviewer is ridiculously disrespectful.

  • @srhcp40408

It's called doing a good interview. You have to ask akward or difficult questions - otherwise it's a fawning puff piece. Personally, I thought that it was a very good , well researched interview

  • @candypink40 I agree that it's an interviewer's job to ask difficult questions. I guess I was more referring to the fact that he treated the entire fashion industry disrespectfully and kind of belittled it.

  • as an architect who is constantly irked by the lack of artistic sensibility within my field, i understand anna wintour's ruthlessness. fashion is above all an art, one that needs to be protected and constantly progressed.

  • Love, Love Anna :)

  • the best thing this lady said was were here to work that how jobs suppose to be people bitch about not having a job but when they have one they bitch because they work to much. they just wanna go to work and hang out an make friends.. well said

  • Great interview by Morley Safer who gave good questions and tried to understand the world and the person hes interviewing. I feel it was nice he gave his own perspective of how he saw the world of fashion.

But also Anna Wintour gave some very good responses. Like myakutaku said she is just very professional and diplomatic in response.

  • She is fabulous and glamorous, but if you watch "The September Issue", Grace Coddington, the red haired woman, STEALS the show. That's not an easy feat, to steal the spotlight from Anna Wintour. LOVE you Grace!

  • i like her...i think she's cute

  • One of the few people of fame I would love to meet.

  • she's interesting. but the fur .......wearing and promoting ....is rather disgusting.

  • To be honest Anna Wintour looks frail it's not cute

  • I thought fashion was fun i mean it really isn't that serious.

  • I have the same birthday as her. I hope that means one day I will also be a BOSS!

  • I love Anna Wintour she knows what she want. She is perfect.

  • I love Anna Wintour.

  • Love her

  • ANNA WINTOUR SHOULD BRING BACK LINDA EVANGELISTA AND CHRISTY TURLINGTON, THE ORIGINAL "EXCITING" SUPERMODELS BACK ON THE COVER OF VOGUE..... PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD ALREADY ARE GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF "BORING" WANNABE MODEL CELEBRITIES, POSING ON EVERY FASHION MAGAZINES!..........YAWN! ):

  • i dont understand y people think she's a bitch. My opinion is that she's a hardworking yet determined editor in chief that brought the magazine in a great direction

  • I admire this woman very much. The insults (whether they are meant to be or not) are thrown at her and the fashion world one after the other, and look at her! Answering the not-so-nice questions (or affirmations) with a smile and in such a classy manner. She has a job to do and she does it very well, the fact is that when you are editor for a magazine such as Vogue you have to take your job seriously, and you can't let people push you around. I hope she will be around for a long time.

  • Shes extremely smart and self driven.... I don't find her to be cold.

  • I like the fact that she's decisive, knows what she want's give clear expectation and is concise in her opinions and demands. Plus, the fact the she holds short meetings make me want to work with her. All managers in American Business (fashion or not) needs to do a case study on her and how she conducts business and take notes. I'm about to go into an hour meeting and listen to my boss ramble about nonsense that could be covered in 15 minutes.

  • the fashion industry is a collection of fake people with pooh under their skin. It is completely pointless and only makes people feel uncomfortable with themselves. Poor girls who are exposed to the influence of the fashion industry

  • @boatofcoins fashion is part of our culture... if people are uncomfortable under their own skin then its their own problem. A majority of girls who bitch and moan about how the fashion industry breaks down their self esteem are girls who dont even try to change themselves. do you think that the so called 'beautiful people" sit at home all day and eat? no they all excersise regimens and work hard... if u wanna change yourself then change yourself its that easy -_-

  • stunningly amazing woman! have much great respect for her!

  • I love her. After watching The September Issue I have a new appreciation for Anna, Andre, Grace and everyone that works at Vogue. I am truly inspired by them.

  • this old fool does'nt understand the story hes covering!!!

  • actually there were several hairs out of place but... oh what the hell, its Wintour!

  • I'm sorry. I'm not a huge fan of fashion like some. And there are some things that they make I find ridiculous. But I did not agree with everything the host said. I found his attitude to be slightly hostile and a little bit snarky. I thought he was supposed to be impartial not trying to get a reaction out of Anna Wintour.

  • Charles Wintour... Anna's father was the Editor of the Evening Standard. He did not own Vogue.

  • I love her. No one would complain about her personality traits if she were a man.

  • this old man has no style or creativity...time for you to hang it up...who is he!!

  • @lukemack what is your obsession with commenting on videos with senior men, only to insult them? you have no life! stop watching stuff you don't like. negativitiy will kill you

  • I don't think she's a bitch at all, and I hate that term in general. She's a strong buisness woman. Only her work personality has been shown (to my knowledge), we don't know anything of her personal demeanour. I think considering the line of work she is in, she needs to be demanding and severe, it's the only way the job would get done.

  • No one can do what Anna does.

  • She isn't a typical boss, and doesn't work with people who respond well with kisses, and cuddles. It's so cutthroat.

  • She's a bitch, but the fashion industry is full of them, she HAS to keep the ego maniacs that flood fashion under control somehow...

  • i love this woman!

  • People shouldn't expect so much from Anna she is a fantastic editor who's passion drive and talent has taken both fashion and vogue to the height it is today. She is a master at her craft who gives little away and that's what makes us all so intrigued!

  • he said she is like a dr...

wtf. if she is like a dr i will give me medical license back!

  • she is a GREAT woman....a living legend, no one can do what she does....what she has done for US Vogue...it's beyond fashion....she made VOGUE a lifestyle, she made it a religion.....US Vogue are known these days as the Bible to the fashion world....and it's all because of Anna....she has high expectation...but if she's a man, ppl prob call her a genius or something.....she is NOT a bitch...she is just a powerful woman.

  • 60 minutes reporter was an ASS hole, this was totally edited to try and show her as a bitch..

  • loathe, fear? hate? bitch?!

    those words don't describe her!!

she's awesome! she does her work marvelously and isn't intimidated

and se does smile people, she's not a bitch.she's lovely<3

  • This is completely the wrong person to do this spot. Did he think he was being funny by dissing Lagerfeld and Galliano's fashion choices? Does that place him above them in status? I hope he felt better about himself after this. What an immature move from a journalist who has no excuse to behave in such a way.

  • If you look at the first 20 seconds of the video at Maorleys suit-----it is crunpled, ill fitted and looks cheap. Even his tie looks ill-fitted. I have respect for Morley as he has been with 60 minutes for years but "Get a Better Taylor!"

  • She actually gets prettier the older she gets . . .

  • I love Uncle Karl.
