  • Chris is in great voice here but Tom's faster than the drums-?

  • Trust me it's drop D tuning.

  • I WAS AT THIS SHOW! :D The ONLY Toronto show that Audioslave ever did :D

  • damn the kick drum at 42: made me shit my pants

  • holy fucking shit..........why is cornel so mad and just shouts at the chorus?is he pissed about something???damn if he gets tired you just can't listen to him...

  • This is just badass.

  • Well.. His voice is damaged here, he lost it after the first album when he destroyed his falshetto and head voice, and turned completely to chest voice and the resulting scratch, though his voice still sounded awesome just different every album..lol glad to say he's recovering for soundgarden"and fact. Cornell live is easily double the power and quality as Cornell studio, u just haven't heard it because you're alive after his golden years" which might return briefly

  • esse audio ta uma merda!!!!!

  • omfg tom morello rocks

  • Eat that fancy Tom Morello footwork @ 0:18 . I wish I could do that but drummers have to sit down :-/

  • so dont make fun of me if this is a stupid question haha...but this was 2005 right...

  • yah it was, october i think...

  • TRIP&MUSIC

  • theres only one tom morello!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha, not if i can get some of his DN....

    i've said too much....

  • @saunciefancie and only one tim...

  • GR8 PERFORMANCE

  • my firs consert ever in 2005 it was the best concert i ever ben at this will be my membery of my first concert ever i was 12 years old at the time it was oct 7 on fri 2005 at 8:00 pm tell 12 midnight

  • this is the fuckin voice... love brad wilk playing

  • you are 100% right .. on the disk his voice amazing... Live the first 3 songs real nice but.. the others not so much.. he forces his voice to sing in a range real tough.. that's why he sounds like in the part "nail in my hands from my creator" so bad!:S even so he is an amazing composer, singer and permformer.

  • Dude type in COchise and watch the David Letterman one and tell me he's not as good live

  • i think the first cd sounded awesome

but at the other to cd;s his voice sounded damaged

    but still

    he's cool

  • have u ever been to a consert with chris cornell? the microphone on this camera, sucks...I do agree he is better on disc, but he dont "suck" on live performance

  • lol dude type in Slaves and Bulldozers and watch the second one that comes up, if you don't change your opinion you don't recognize talent

  • Chris has a awesome voice !!

  • i was there at that video but i was up high but it was my first concert and it was the best audioslave rule

  • The audio is no good but i like Audioslave live. Is a great Band.

  • it sounds different because the recording was made with Morello's Fender Aerodyne Stratocaster [Soul Power, his guitar for audioslave songs played in regular 440] tuned to drop d, which he can't do on concerts, since his drop d guitar is the '62 telecaster [sendero luminoso] which has it's own trademark metallic sound when playing one finger powerchords. hope that satisfies you're curiousity. :D

  • dont give false information, morello has never played any of his songs in standard tuning, ESPECIALLY this one. listen to the first D of the song. its clearly tuned to D.

  • It's in D indeed, but read.

I didn't say it, I just said that the recording ON THE ALBUM was NOT made with this guitar in particular, i said the strato which was a mistake, as it prolly was done with a lespaul.

  • @zion3179 What? He has alot of songs in standard tuning. Soul power and arm the homeless are his standard tuned guitars.

  • @zion3179 his soul power guitar is in standard tuning... he said so himself.

  • no wayy, morello is wearing a leafs jersey..... thats sooo sick

  • Hell yeah :D

  • sounds much different from the video

  • Tom certainly has a nice big ol' fan on himself. Poor Brad Wilk is probably sweating his balls off back there behind that kit.

  • It seams like there's alot of studio magic that Chris wasn't able to reproduce. Still this song kicks ass!

  • Morello's some kind of monster!!!!!

  • Nail in my hand

    from my creator

    you gave me life now

    show me how to live!!!!!

    the best

  • awesome performance from a band you will never see perform again... chris will never chosse this song to do on his solo tour because his voice wont take this type of song no more... most audioslave coruses are a strain on his voice he just couldnt keep up anymore... love the new stuff tho

  • You're wrong. He's been playing it on his live sets on his new tour.

  • do you have any footage or seen any.. cool!!!!!

  • and actualy dude, chris's voice sounds alot better ever since he left slave. wat a ripoff!!

  • yeah badly... but because tom, tim and brad rocked so hard he couldnt keep up in away, i may be wrong.. maybe to much touring putting a strain on his voice. but hey its back now...

  • just like to point out I saw him live last week and Not only did he hammer this song but many older songs that his "voice cant handle any longer" Most notably Jesus Christ Pose and Birth Ritual. He is very capable of still hitting those notes!

  • its cuz he doesnt put strain on his vocal chords, he screams the right way. Not like screamo bands, or billy talent to say. Bt's singer is gunna have no voice in 5 years cuz he puts far too much strain on his vocal chords, cornell does it right.

  • Nail in my hand

    From my creator

    You gave me life now....

you really did Show me how to live

    AWESOME SONG!!! you guys ROCK

  • I would much like Jim Kerr. If you love a a chick etc,,,,

  • Chris is a bit out of key in this song....I don't know why nobody's mentioned this. I guess it's normal for huge fans to be in denial...I'm not a huge fan...just a fan....so thought I'd be the first to say it. *(during the first chorus)

  • if anything it's the first verse, it's called a long ass set and pacing yourself...if any vocalist who did as much wailing and belting as cornell tried to do every performance like studio versions, they wouldn't make it to the 5th song

  • He screwed over a couple weeks in Soundgarden for going A over C (if you don't know, that's... really high) in a couple different songs in a single perfomance. He's conditioned I think, though, to do this now.

  • Yeah, he's done that on a few live preformances I've seen.

Here, though, it may be audio-quality on the camera.

  • Chris has a awesome voice !!

  • kralsın buyuksun.... ayrildiniz ama en azindan yasiosunuz...

  • chris cornell..i dont see how he doesnt lose his voice after EVERY show. he is fucking awesome. try singing the song, ridiculous

  • What's with people saying things like...."You try singing it...." Bro...this guy wrote the fuck'n song....we work at BS jobs to make this guy millions....he's supposed to entertain...not us.

  • I think supermon87 was just saying that it is hard to sing this song, and if anyone tried screaming like this for an hour they would understand how hard it is to give your 100% during every performance and why his voice is raspy at times.

  • Amazing song but it has the most boring solo ever.

  • God I know. Would it have killed him to at least TRY to do something? Jesus. No offense, Tom, but what were you thinkin? Whatevah. Song still rocks my face.

  • they're just on of those bands that you can say something good about every member

  • Another classic tom morello riff...love this song.

  • Love the song, love the band. Hate that god damn venue.

  • How can anyone not groove along to this song - superb
