Fischer shouldn't be faulted for demanding better pay. His shenanigans were a side-show - if it worked as a weapon of intimidation so be it. I think Fischer beat Spassky because he outplayed him not because of his eccentric behavior. Fischer's charisma and force of his personality was undeniable. May he rest in peace.
