  • Thanks for the honest review! I'm following the Curly Girl Routine and have been happily "poo and cone free" for several months! Keep up the good work. You're a sweetheart!

  • Lol, you are so adorable & funny in this vid;D

I love your hair btw & thanks for the advice.

I perm my hair to make it straighter looking, but as its getting long I want to have a natural wavy/curly look to my hair, kinda like yours.

I've always wanted to try Ouidad's products & Im researching reviews on it for the 1st time, ppl are saying good things about it.

Thanx for the hint on co-washing as well. Its good advice, when I just condition & not shampoo my hair looks better.

    Imma quit too, lol

  • so what do u like better? deva curl or ouidad?

  • Its spelled Ouidad i got it wrong to at first but if you got to Quidad.com its the wrong site if you go to Ouidad.com its right

  • First of all: you're gorgeous and so is your hair. Second of all: I've been a curly girl for about a year now. I cannot wait to get Ouidad's products when I visit the States! Thirdly: the Ouidad shampoo does not have any sulfates so it would be safe to use! I am still in doubt whether or not I should get the shampoo though.

  • Oh and btw, the DevaCurl "B Leave In" leave in conditioner SUCKS! It has way more bad reveiws than good, it's pretty much worthless. NOTE to the noobs or people that think they know it all: EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT, so not everybody's hair is going to adapt to an "all organic" or "all natural" routine! For some it may make wonders, but for many, it is a NIGHTMARE! Ladies, try using alot of different products and routines to see what works for YOU and YOUR hair type! :)

  • People only like the devacurl line because their products have no silicones.. um? you can use products with ANY silicones, all you have to do is wash your damn hair with shampoo that contains AMMONIUM LAURYL SULFATE, a much better alternate to Sodium Lauryl sulfate because ammonium lauryl not only cleanses throughly, it is GENTLER and SAFER. So all you Devacurl lovers are falling into the organic hype, the same brand hype that actually actually makes ur curls shit, because ur not CLEANSING THEM!

  • @MszAmazinq I appreciate the info, but I like DevaCare products because they work well for MY hair, and people with hair similar to my texture. Also, I do know that silicones do have a tendency to dry out your hair... just like alcohol. There is really no brand hype that I am trying to promote, I'm just sharing the experiences of what has happened with my hair. Like you said, everyone is different... so please stop bashing the stuff that works for ME on MY page. Thanks!

  • @MszAmazinq what about sodium laureth sulfate?

  • Umm sorry to all of you that like the Devacurl line, but Ouidad's products are by far a million times better! Too many products have to be used to acheive beautiful curls when using Devacurl products, but when using OUIDAD all you need is the shampoo and conditioner, just ONE of the gels (depending on your curl type), & the leave in conditioner to have beautiful curls, and the botanical booster to use in the following mornings is all you need until you decide to wash your hair again. Ouidad.com

  • it is NOT gross that you don't ever wash your hair! That just shows you know what your talking about lol. I am trying to transition to that myself, it's a process but your hair is a lot nicer that way! IIt's not good to strip moisture out of your hair with shampoo all the time. Thanks for the review, I plan on trying this product.

  • Ouidad is my girl

  • When you said "your hear needs to build oil!", ou said it so fast I heard: your hear needs to boil :-D

Thanks for the review and tips.

  • I just came across this video which did you prefer ouidad or devacurl? I have mixed hair 9my mom's african american and my fathers caucasian both with curly hair) I've used mixed chicks but wasn't totally crazy about it. So which did you prefer?

  • @holyspirit0

I never said I was hispanic or of spanish descent... but regardless YOU are the one spelling it incorrectly, I spelled it the right way. Ouidad is Lebanese, so you must be confused.

  • @curlymissmonie bless you, folks will stay WRONG and STRONG!!!! i got a bunch of QUIDAD products too lol let me go dig them out. love your vids!!!

  • @holyspirit0 dude OUIDAD is not spanish.

  • @holyspirit0 ur a fucken dumbass!

  • @holyspirit0 Umm no its spelled Ouidad soo YOU ARE WRONG !

  • @daisymarie98

Thanks for the advice, I will look into that one. I have been using the Deva Curl Products, and I really love them!

  • Gosh! iLove this video! its too funny too cute! AND MY NAMES SIMONE TOO ^-^ lolx anywayyyy Youre Gorgeous Your hair is beautiful and iLove Love Love your personality!<3 -ijs =)

  • @sici9999

Yay for the Simones! Thank you!!!

  • Have you ever tried mixed chicks? I just ordered my Ouidad but I bumped in to a mixed chicks review? Was wondering if you were familiar with it?

  • @truedominicanstar

No, I haven't tried Mixed Chicks yet, but I definitely plan to try them out!

  • just so you know people with straight hair have to wash their hair more often than people with curly hair because people with straight hair have excess oils that they need to wash off. people with curlier hair have less oils thats why we use oils, grease and the like on our hair so people with curlier hair don't have to wash their hair as often

  • my hair is naturally very curly and thick but i have used a perm on it a while ago. i have to use a straightening iron every day on it. i saw the infomercial but i'm skeptical i don't know if it would work for me.

would this really work on my hair? (i'm black btw)

  • haha you crack me up! love the video!!

  • love your hair

  • haha sue me:)

  • You can buy Ouidad's products at Sephora.

  • @CultivoUnaRosaBlanca yepp yepp!!

  • your curls are gorgeous!!!!

  • Yeah I would visit the Ouidad website to determine what kind of curl type you have, then it will tell you what products are right for your curl pattern. It should work for you, I used to have to put a bunch of product in my hair too. You can use clarifying conditioner instead of shampoo. It helps keep the oil in your hair.

  • my ma doesnt believe the curly girl method so she forces me to use shampoo :( lol...can u please answer me..does the ouidad products work for hair that you usually would have to put a ton of gel in to keep down lol..pleaaseeeee answer me cuz i wana kno if this product is worth trying thnx

  • wow simone.. great video...u didnt mention my name tho....give me a shout out...
