God! Look at how young Dave Grohl looks. Oh well, makes sense, it was 12 years ago. He has been like my dream man since he came into the forefront. I love how raw this version of this song is. Their sound has gotten a lot more polished since then. They now sound just as good live as they do int he studio. A totally tight band. Grohl is a multi talented musician whose talent was being overshadowed by Kurt Cobain. No disrespect to Cobain, but Grohl was always the real talent.
I too wondered what type of Hagstrom Pat's guitar is. He plays it in a number of early FF videos. "Everlong" in Jools Holland 1997, the great "February Stars" Vienna, 1997, "Monkey Wrench" on Letterman and "Everlong" on the Keenan Ivory Wayans Show, there are probably several others.
I suggest you write to Hagstrom Guitars and reference these videos, I'm sure they would be happy to identify the guitar, or tell you if they customized-it for Pat.

The rep didn't say if they gave it a name/model. He also said that they've received many inquiries about the guitar.

Yea, Taylor's voice is more suitable if they needed a voice to mimic Dave's, but not harmonies. Personally, I think Franz's harmonies were best for this song.
