While fanboys of any flag are going to be obnoxious, the greater sadness is how much people identify themselves with apple. As if it were not just a product but some element of their core being. Apple quite keenly taps into that with their marketing. So much so that people, even in the comments here, regurgitate apple press as personal opinion. "It just works" , "more intuitive" etc. It's rather unsettling.

What you're referring to are not specifically called Apples, they're Macs. Apple is the comapny that makes them. The devices themselves have actual names.

Hi , i dont like apple mouses "hardware " , but steer mouse on OSX is all you need to setup the mouse over normal use , any mouse Pc or mac , all buttons , accel , speed ,pointer , per application config et all . Mac OSX is far nicer than windows any version dispite the mouse config issues.

There is an option for disabling mouse acceleration. Just type these into terminal and your good.

While this is true for most people, you have to realize the reason that those sort of people use macs because it is intuitive, and I don't know anyone who would crucify an operating system just because the way it functions makes sense.The mac has a lot more built in features that should be in Windows in the first place.And no the PC isn't actually more "efficient" as you put it.The code for windows was generalized to attempt to be compatible. The mac os x code base is optimized for mac hardware.

Use Mac AND PC, both are fantastic setup's to use :) Personally i use a custom built PC and a MacBook Pro. They are both awesome computers.
