I don't understand how more people don't know about and love VAST, such amazing music! Everyone we play it to loves it, even people who don't normally like goth / ambient / industrial stuff. Even my eight month old girl who loves to be danced around the room to Turquoise and Crimson :)

It's so funny how so many people leave comments like "I can't believe I never heard of them until now, " or something like that. They wrote a song called "I thought by Now" which is about how they thought they would be more famous by now. They have produced like 15 CDs over almost 20 years. Their earliest music was country-rock sounding.

I agree, it's a shame that they aren't as well known as they should be. They are, without a doubt, my favorite band of all time. (And have been for many, many years.) I do my best to introduce people to them at any given moment, and so far just about everyone has asked the same question.. "Why aren't they famous?"

The country thing didn't happen until 2006 - 2007.

I like the powerfull touches of the piano, the melancholic start of the voice, then the emphasys on certain key words as the song progresses. The shift between the grief, rage, anger, doubts and questions ever present when a tragedy occurs. Touching and powerfull song.

He released it first on a download only CD Turquoise and Crimson(as two seperated CDs). Then he put it on Nude, which was a bit different than the version on Turquoise(this one). But then he released them together as a double CD that you could buy in the store.
