Dom DeLuise's comedy is classic!! Just so you know-I am not some kind of "straight laced prude", but I just don't understand why today's comedians feel the need to so consistently use words such as "fuck, nigga, asshole, etc" in their acts! Dom DeLuise's act is a prime example of how "clean" jokes can be hilarious without using a bunch pf curse words.

Not to ruin it, but the joke actually makes an excellent point about how to look at religion. A bit like this classic by Emo Phillips: "When I was young I used to pray to God to give me a bike. Then I went to Sunday school and learned that that's not how it works... so I stole a bike, and prayed for forgiveness."

This joke was used in the West Wing episode "Take This Sabbath Day." By Karl Malden in one of his last roles. As a priest holding the same Bible he used in "On the Waterfront" 46 years earlier. Only it wasn't meant to be funny that time.
