I still drivie my 1989 Deville, one of the best Cadillacs ever. At 127,000 miles runs strong, quiet, smooth and like new. The 89-93 Devilles with the 4.5 and 4.9 liter V-8s were built to last and are superior to the Northstar which always leak oil, overheat and cracks. Cadillac made excellent cars back then.

If Caddilac had given the Allante rear wheel drive and better engine options it might have held it's own. Oh well at tleast you can get one dirt cheap

Amusing how looking back this was not a very good time period for Caddy. Let alone the fact that most Pre - Northstar Cadillacs are more prone to problems, the only solid one during the 80s, really, is the Fleetwood/Brougham.

Uh, the Northstar is extremely prone to problems (Head Gaskets, Oil Pumps etc)... They were ALL junk, up until recently.

one of my favorit tag lines from the cadillac marque. However since I have a CTS I like the Led Zepelin tunage just as much!! Breakthrough
