When the people affected by it met their leaders, we somehow resisted the urge to communicate with them via interpretive jazz dancing, children's drawings of god, or tepid acoustic guitar balladeering. I am a 58 year old, who can remember going to Grand Isle each summer, brought my children every year. Even made a couple of Mardi Gras there too.
