@platypus311 if 'Beverly Hills' was cut from Make Believe, the album would be great. The cover would also be great if they got weezer out and it was just the dragon. Someone should photoshop them out lol.
This is one of the few good songs on Maladroit. Though Red Album sounds pretty good imo. Still, Pinkerton is the awkward, alternative nerd anthem. Total awesomeness.
great song. its just not much of an album. Blue and make believe, those are some good albums. I'm not trolling, this is a great song, its album just isn't that good.
@piemanbeatle Perfect Situation and This is Such a Pity are decent songs, but if you can honestly say that songs like Freak Me Out and My Best Friend are even so much as decent then you mustn't know much about music.
i got this book called 1001 songs you should hear before you die..i was sooo happy when i saw this song on it...they got good taste...apart from the fact that they put soulja boy in it... *sigh*
I like practically every song on Maladroit except maybe Death&Destruction as too-obvious-filler, just to have something more mellow... If anyone is able to recommend albums/bands that sound similar like this - please do! I usually don't listen to much rock from that time.
@AsMhMoOt Mmmmh, well it's nice that different listeners get different kicks off it. Musically, I like it, but the lyrics seem so cliché. I guess you have no recommendations then?
@RisforRockit Not really i mean Weezer has such a different sound then all the other bands. So i guess you can try out some other weezer albums though.
I love this album... and to everyone below... i actually kinda like Make Beleive... it's not that bad, but Freak Me Out was horrible

I love Maladroit. It's like a mix of Pinkerton and Blue. It's pretty sad how people ignore it when they talk about Weezer.

lol if anything THIS album is underrated. Pinkerton got so underrated it got overrated.

@piemanbeatle In my opinion, Make Believe is a horrid album.

@realslimvulcan Listen to the singles that aren't beverly hills, and eat your words.

@realslimvulcan I just know the singles. Beverly Hills is a catchy rock-rap type thing, and we are all on drugs is pretty good.
piemanbeatle 8 months ago
@piemanbeatle Oh, okay. A few of the singles are decent songs but the rest of the album is really bad.

@realslimvulcan I agree. I am of the opinion that all of their albums prior to Make Believe are better than those that succeeded it.
Funkenstein256 9 months ago
@Funkenstein256 I totally see what you mean there. Make Believe was a great drop in quality for Weezer, and everything after it more or less sucked.
