  • Thanks for the demo! Just wondering what machine you are using. It looks like you have a large work area to the right of the needle. I am currently looking for something larger than what I have been working on which is a 50 year old Singer.

  • @ncredbird That is a Bernina with an average space.. about 9". There are newer machines with up to 12" now that do sewing. Visit your local sewing machine shop and take a look.. the new machines make your life so much easier and more fun to sew!

  • @PatSloan1

What model Bernina? I have looked at the new 800 series and although it is a knockout it is WAY beyond my pocket book.

  • @ncredbird so sorry this took so long! I am using a Bernina.. any of the newer models are fabulous! Go do some test runs... time to upgrade!

  • Cute pattern. PLEASE, use better lighting on your video. It will help the camera stay in better focus. I could barely see what was being filmed. I checked it on multiple computer/ monitors... all were dark. I love your tip section.

  • Don't worry! Eggs are valid too.. Just have fun!

  • Thanks Pat! but you make this look sooo easy. I'm going to try it but my circles will probably look like eggs1

  • Exactly I need. Thank you very much :-)

  • Hi Vee!!

If you don't pull the threads up then about 75 percent of the time the bobbin thread will ball up and cause a big rats nest on the back! Not a nice thing to take out.. and it's so quick to just pull the threads to the top and hold so they are tight

    hope that helped!

  • hi everyone instructs to pull the thread up from the bottom...why is that??

thanks for the excellent close up...

  • Your welcome!!!

  • I thought that was very helpful, I did circles and it was amazing. I couldn't believe I had did it. Next I went back to straight lines, I did a poor job, lots of wrinkles on a king size quilt. I will try bubbles next time. Thank you Pat.

  • Thank you very much for sharing...:)

  • Hi Pat!
