Mistiatt, you don't do it without a platform unless, of course, you're on TV or on stage. Then , of course, wires. Some magic can only be done on TV or, a stage where you need apperatus. Close up or, parlor magic can be done anywhere. On TV or stage, anything can be done. Like making a jumbo jet vanish. Try that in your livingroom...lol

@roccotool Actually, David Blaine uses a method that's a lot more basic, and doesn't require any trick pants or props. Just type "Balducci Levitation" into Google, YouTube, or Wikipedia.

How can he get from the Lexor pyramid in Las Vegas to all the way across another building without the aid of any foot stool or stepping onto a foot stool with his fake ass dead legs behind him? That still does not revel how he gets across through the air from one building to another. This video sucks & blows chunks on that aspect of not revealing all that needs to be known. Hard too ! It only explains levitation from only a few feet in the air. Not from one building to the next.

I think it's cool that he's letting people see how he does some of his tricks. I still respect him as a performer and it doesn't make me disappointed at all. That's the whole point of being an illusionist. I don't mind. I still think he's awesome at what he does.
