If we were Bankrupt at that percentage then according to Cameron we have been bankrupt for our entire history since the 1750's to the present!! This is balls. A lot of doctors work in the NHS and do private consultations at private places in their own time. Whats the problem. I'm a radiographer in the NHS full time, and once a month choose to do private work in an orthopaedic theater in my own time. I get paid £25 an hour for about 8 hours. It makes sense for me to do it. But I still think the NHS is fantastic in its principles, and its an honour to serve the community.
