@badcompanyization It's because the critics didn't, and wouldn't understand it. 30% DID get it, and 70% did not. It's a great film, but you have to be willing to let it effect you.

The main kid (was his name Kevin?) was the spitting image of Barret Oliver! His teeth weren't naturally straight like Barret's, though. He is even a good actor, too! I didn't like Mahoney (Natalie Portman?), but it was surprisingly heartwrenching when Mr. Magorium had to leave. The scene in Kevin's room was hilarious! It was my favorite scene! I liked how the producers actually cared about how the scene was perceived, when Mr. Magorium was in the hospital. All of the yellow meant "cheerful".
