That's a horrible thing to say. Anyone can believe. It doesn't matter if they are Chinese or American. It depends on a person to believe what they believe not their nationality. No one CAN'T believe.
@irockyoursockzsobad i think he or she was trying to say china is not (mooostly) a catholic or christian society...of course they can believe in Jesus if they want but they usually follow another religion.
@GothicLilith --- it probably won't come true. Sometimes hope doesn't overcome the odds. I think she should move from the world of dance to that of sports, like wheelchair basketball, or ATV riding. That would be a dynamic and healthy way for her to continue her once-active life

have faith yes. herein my country they just informed us of that incident, but no addictional information was reported. now, by chance, i went to understood the whole fact and i am really sorry! but i believe that her strong will is helping her.
This accident is so tragic . I can empathize with you because I was injured in a bus crash and I injured my knee but physical therapy helped me alot and now I can walk and dance again. So just have faith.

That ballerina from 0:09-0:13 was Tan Yuan Yuan...Liu Yan was in the same performance but she was wearing red and doing Chinese dance.
