This was always my favorite iPod. I liked the accessories Apple made for them too because when you put the iPod into them (armband, dock, external battery pack, etc) it looked like it was part of the accessory!

@TheJosephJordan you couldn't of had.it released on Jan 11 2005.the Hp ones followed it.i have the Hp 512mb 1st gen shuffle as well which is in a orange box.i found a 1gb model of it in a blue colour box which i will be getting.

@DekayDub think you should keep looking if your not urgent.i looked on ebay for couple of months for a brand new one and found the seller selling it for $78 but i told him will you take it for $38 and he or she said okay.so keep looking eventually you find one.
