As I said in my previous comment, Joaquin Luna's death is NO SUICIDE!
It is the greedy, callous, careless, selfish, corrupt, cold-hearted "politicians" who voted against this DREAM Act just for their own special interest - people like congressman Lamar Smith - THEY KILLED HIM!
Senator Durbin is champion and a hero as well as President Obama, Senator Reid, and Congresswoman Pelosi for having the courage fight this injustice.
Joaquin Luna would still be here today if those cruel, cold-hearted, callous, and careless "politicians" who voted AGAINST the DREAM Act STOP BEING PUPPETS WHO SERVE ONLY THE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS JUST TO STAY IN POWER AND DO WHAT IS TRUELY HUMANE AND RIGHT FOR COUNTRY!
DON'T THEY CARE ABOUT PEOPLE WHO ARE UNFORTUNATE?

I hope it passes before Christmas. What a wonderful gift it would be I would rather see the Dream Act be a law than to receive an expensive Christmas present. It will pass, sooner than we think. Rest in peace Joaquin.
I understand why Joaquin Luna had to take such drastic measures. People often overlook how amazingly harsh is it to be "illegal". I myself am 29 years old and even if the DREAM where to pass to my life's regrets. It is my life's story that I have been "too" old to be in this country. I aged out of my mom's petition, who is now a US citizen and now have to wait at least 20 years just (only just) to apply to a visa. One day I hope that the people that voted against the DREAM feel my pain.
Rejoin guys and wake up, we have men power we need to get together and make this DREAM happen..!! RIP to Joaquin, he gave his life for people like us. Its our turn to do something for our future, for our kids future...

Im not only crying because a DREAMer committed such a tragedy but because I truly resonated with Joaquín Luna. I am happy to see that Senators like Durbin are acknowledging where this country was founded on and that someone in everyone's family is an immigrant only pursuing life, liberty, and happiness.
I Don't think it is a coincidence that a lot of dreamers like Joaquin are followers of God.There is without a doubt a dark enemy preventing this law from passing (TWICE has the DA been stopped and by mere votes!)Though once it comes to pass the dreams that Dreamers dream will become not only a reality but AN IMPACT to the world!Because the dreamer's limit of dreaming is heaven. THE SKY COULD BE YOUR LIMIT BUT MINE IS HEAVEN! Joaquin Luna and Gustavo Rezende's Dreams will happen in all of us.
