Amazing to see the reflexes on a deer - so tight that it can actually hear the sound of the bow before the arrows reaches him and react to it (called string jump, if I'm not mistaken, I'm not a bow hunter myself :P). Im not one to usually say anything in these situatuions, but I have to agree with redsneckboy. Although i wouldn't say im a redneck i do enjoy hunting, i do feel bad taking a life but i do find solace in the fact that i am a good shot and will take the deer as humanly and painlessly as possible. Unlike guns, bows rely on a cut and bleed method instead of shock and awe that guns produced, a lot more humane than starving to death or being struck by a car and dying weeks later from internal bleedin

Veggie farms around the world from USA, EUROPE,Australia Africa used to have millions and billions of animals but since the land became veggie land the animals on that land are extinct. Thanx peta and vegetarians for killing billions of animals! When peta comes to NAMIBIA to take pics of wild animals they have to do this on conservationist properties and trophy farms. If they visit the veggie farms they will go back home with hardly any pics of animals.

Amazing to see the reflexes on a deer - so tight that it can actually hear the sound of the bow before the arrows reaches him and react to it (called string jump, if I'm not mistaken, I'm not a bow hunter myself :P). Great shot (albeit a tad high, but then again you're shooting from above), and a very beautiful animal, congrats!

Im not one to usually say anything in these situatuions, but I have to agree with redsneckboy. Although i wouldn't say im a redneck i do enjoy hunting, i do feel bad taking a life but i do find solace in the fact that i am a good shot and will take the deer as humanly and painlessly as possible. If he chooses to bait and it's legal where he lives or hunts then so be it. I know of areas in Illinois where baiting would be great considering the extremely high number of does. Plus, do you just throw a hook into the water or do you put a worm or lifelike lure on it? That's baiting and common practice. Do you hunt food plots? That's baiting too. Think first.

Rice bran FTW! Baiting for deer here in AR is legal. Some states it's not. Where I bow hunt I can see deer regularly without bait. I set bait out so that they will give me the opportunity for an ethical and clean kill with a bow. A good double lung hit on a deer kills just as swiftly as a gun and destroys far less meat.
