Good thing the po-po didn't clock you while you were assimilating g-force readings. :) I think you really need to mount an accelerometer to a couple bikes in a track environment that is getting the bike swinging hard from side to side. You've got a good idea though with this project - good luck!

So what were your peak g-force results?  I can't imagine that you'd get any higher than 1.5 or so even on an aggressive ride. Possibly as high as 2 if you were insane....I'm curious.
