I am almost certain that the noise you are experiencing is from the mic pre in your interface. The R144 is a passive ribbon microphone, with much less output than you would get with a condenser mic. What interface are you using? What you are doing by turning up the gain in FL amplifies all of the noise in the chain. If you need further advice, feel free to call out tech support dept. Ruben there will be glad to assist you. Regards
what preamp which i am needed for this microphone work good? because other consoles strip bad quality and sound .. if not with an interface m audio preamp is fixed or that use

How come if I turn up the db on my program (FL Studio) to eliminate the low output volume, there is more static that comes in that destroys my vocals? I mainly purchaed this for vocal recording, and now I have to deal with finding a way to turn up the db while trying to keep it clear and clean...How did you do it in the video? Someone please reply ASAP!
That is the idea. To show the mic in it's native state, not what we can do with studio processing.
Assenavxactress. There should be no hissing, it is a passive mic with no electronics apart from the transformer. I suspect the hiss is coming from your pre-amp. It is a ribbon mic with a low output, so you may have the gain on the pre amp up so high that you hear the pre's noise.
hello a couple of days ago to buy one of these and would like to know what is best for this microphone if an audio interface or Minimix, which you recommend to get the best sound of this microphone cos would like to record vocals

This video doesn't do the mic justice. Lack of editing but I suppose you can hear the original mic this way

Great vocal performance. But I am surprised a mic company is presenting such lackluster mixes as examples. The vocals are way too quiet for this mix.

To get the best results from any passive ribbon mic, you need a good mic pre. Which interface are you using?
