@PaladinHero It isn't. That was a terrible clip of the show. It looks like everyone in the scene is just spewing political jargon to show how clever and politically savvy the show is, but in that scene they beefed up the intensity of a presidential election because one of the main characters later cracks under the pressure. I can understand how it looks obnoxious but honestly it really isn't once you get a full for the show. I can not recommend the West Wing strongly enough.

I defend every one's free speech. She said that any one who does not like Obama is a racist, that ALL "tea baggers", her word, are "read neck racist". She makes general comments about every one in a very large group calling them all names and racists. I do not think she has ever been to a Tea Party event or had a conversation with any of them. Hollywood is completely different. I love Janeane Garofalo... but her tattoos are a little, well, they lack class. And she's a very intelligent, hilarious and talented woman. I would never judge someone completely on their tattoos, but if you were to... I think her tattoos seem kinda tacky, and that's not what she's like at all. But she's decided to get them, and they're important to her. So carry on. I personally don't like them.

I love Janeane, but one thing I've noticed, in the 80-90s stand up days, she always wore big sweaters, long sleaves, jackets, etc. in the late-90s to present political days, she always wears tank tops. I'm don't think she's intentially trying to show off her tats, but it almost seems that way. I guess she's more secure about herself now. She thought she was fat back in the days (when she was the cutest imo)
