Keeping tires inflated means safer roads because the chances of accidents are reduced due to shorter stopping distance, better wet pavement traction, and fewer rollover accidents.

Economically, not only will a person save money due to mileage, but that person can purchase other things to strengthen the US economy. We all know where money goes when it's paid towards gas (the middle east).

Less emissions also means lower health care costs.

That's why Obama runs the country, and you don't.

I have addressed your claim well and what I have concluded is that though increase in pavement damage is bad, it is not nearly as bad as the three other things I have mentioned.

It's your failure to understand that it's not the losses that matter but the net gains that do that blinds you from the right decisions. Therefore, you have lost this argument.

I wish this would be the case, but being raised on a farm i can tell you that most off our neighbors done everything to drive the soil erosion. And you don't stop this process by planting crops but trees which again will slow winds down and reduce the effectiveness of wind power again.

Well, then your full of shit. If I could take you up on your word, then I would have to admit that my friends in the farming industry (in Iowa) don't take measures to terrace their fields where appropriate, promote crop rotation, and apply other appropriate soil conservation measures.

About any plant with a good root system can prevent soil erosion, thats why you plant grass in many areas and why when you remove grass, it gets muddy. The root system is still there, even after harvest.

I don't know if you've seen the wind generators out here in Texas, but there aren't trees tall enough to even get near the blades. Maybe out east but not here. Most of them are out in the desert/plains anyway which has no trees.

Wind turbines don't make the wind blow, they take advantage of the fact that it's already blowing. If farmers chose to farm on areas with wind erosion problems, that's a problem, yes, but don't blame the wind turbines!

The one thing I find that coal and atomic energy has in comon is dirty in and dirty out types of energy production.
